3:06-3:08 Ghidorah down at the 30 with a vicious hit by Godzilla!! What a play!! This brings back wonderful memories as a kid watching these on WXYZ channel 7 around 4 p.m.!!!
3:22 Fun-fact: Godzilla’s victory dance was thought up by Yoshio Tsuchiya, who also plays the leader of Planet X. This dance was based on the "shê" gag pose, a trademark of the character Iyami from "Osomatsu-kun," a popular manga at the time (ie, 1965) that was created by famous Japanese cartoonist Fujio Akatsuka. Known for being a joker on set, especially towards his American co-star, Nick Adams, Tsuchiya suggested the idea to special-effects director Eiji Tsuburaya. Tsuburaya, who also had a habit of including humor in his works and was supportive of anthropomorphizing his daikaiju, approved of the idea. Director Ishiro Honda, special-effects cinematographer Sadamasa Arikawa, and Godzilla suit-performer Haruo Nakajima all objected to the idea. Teruyoshi Nakano, assistant director of special-effects, said audiences were divided over the dance.
And this beautiful thing was cut in the German Version...because they found it to be "too silly" 😅 ...The rare case of the cliché that "Germans have no humour" is definitely true...

No CG... just heart and passion skillfully brought to screen. We forget, for a moment, they are actors in suits. Also, how badass are the craftsfolk who built those model cities with painstaking care! We sit at computers now to create... is that a win?
I don’t know maybe try actually being good at a computer. Like I get it, watching this of films and seeing the people theses figuring out budgetary cuts is intriguing, but don’t use that just to tear down another art from.
@@dinoguy163 sorry man, you don't get it... it's not about computer proficiency or budgetary concerns... it's about getting off ones ass and physically creating. I know it's a radical concept to you, but I respect your opinion.
At least the CG gives better results than this, the monsters in CG will no longer look like subjects in suits and it won't take a lot of physical demands on a person to make that movie a reality... Do you know one of the things that makes Godzilla Vs. Kong 2021 so highly anticipated? for its beautiful special effects that makes the monsters look so real and not as simple as in King Kong Vs. Godzilla in 1962, and do you think that is not winning? IT'S CALLED EVOLVE!
3:06 I love how this is the most replayed moment of the video, and it's no wonder why. My boy Godzilla just straight bodied this guy, King Ghidorah is tough as crap like those giant boulders were almost nothing to the thing. But he gets slammed down when the king of the monsters goes leaping into him. Ain't no way I'm body slamming into a giant three headed monster but Godzilla is the monster of monsters.
This is an interesting fight scene, as it as a unique setting (The only Godzilla fight on another planet)! And it is pretty well done, I am impressed with how they were able to make the monsters move! It is short, but sweet! Plus Godzilla dancing is pretty funny!
nothing like the classic's, i remember watching this at a drive in as a kid with my parents. loved this. so much work went into making a movie like this, just like the original and best version of King Kong in 1933. it was pain staking work, stop motion. this is why i say this is the classic's.
