Fun Fact: They only turned them human because they were running low on money. Honestly if they played their cards right I think they could've had these two play Cosmo and Wanda for the whole film.
Hated how they turned him really stupid in the later seasons. He was a bit better early with some bouts of idiocy and good ideas but they took away his ability to think afterwards.
@@nexusprime2487 Yeah, shows always make their “stupid” character even more stupid as the show goes on. Look what Victorious did to Cat. It’s flanderization. They take a quirk and exaggerate it.
I never understood why they made Wanda so dumb in this movie... she is usually a bit more erraticly angry and responsible... but Cosmo being back to quick-witted and sassy is great
It is so sad that Timmy´s parents are so bad that he preffers to ruin his own adult life just to avoid letting the only people that showed him authentic love to be taken away from him.
@@lalaemi264 I think that has always been a sort of running gag with Cosmo and Wanda in the series, that, having been through SO much time in their lives (being immortal) and living primarily in Fairy World (where fashion is a LOT different) they are sort of "out of it" with regards to what kind of clothing is "normal" for the time they are in. Just look at how they were dressed in the episode of the cartoon where they were pretending to be kids in Timmy's school. Hence, the sort of 1940's-50's look here (though, given that they were dressed period appropriately in the 60's when they were Crocker's Fairy Godparents, how they could have gone BACKWARDS is a little beyond me.)
seeing them as human actors is at least more interesting than the awkward CG models; they're actually there and can interact with things. (also their voices are less annoying)
I also view David Lewis as Mr. Crocker as a nice respite from the rest of the films' runtime. That guy just poured a lot of fun energy into his performance.
I honestly never noticed that Jason Alexander played live action Cosmo. Also that thing at the end is funny cause I actually do need to go to bed since I work in a few hours
You know the live action movies of Fairly oddparents with Drake Bell were a lot better than Fairly Odder and people kinda tore into these movies when they came out as well.
Honestly, a whole movie about Cosmo and Wanda navigating being humans while Timmy is away or something sounds good. As long as they kept Cheryl Hines and Jason Alexander. Even add Dolph or Arnold as Jorgen even. Bernadette Peters would be a cool Mama Cosma, and Antonio Banderas as Juandisimo? Brb, let me write this fanfic script.
Huh, they have a nice vibe. I could have watched these two in a sitcom... It's too bad Fairly Odder is made out of Dollar Store costumes, paper clips, and duct tape.
This video was a random recommendation I decided to watch while scrolling RUclips instead of sleeping, so that ending coming up out of nowhere was both disturbingly personal and also kinda hilarious.
Cosmo momentarily acting closer to his original personality threw me for a loop when I first watched this. It was brief, but Jason Alexander nailed it.
George Costanza and Cheryl David being Cosmo and Wanda is something I just realized today. As a Seinfeld and Curb fan, seeing them interact with Drake Bell and Daniella Monet is worlds colliding.
See if the fairies are like that in human form In the movie, then why not the sitcom have the fairies look like that instead of what ever shit they put. It’s not that hard!!!
Fun Fact: They only turned them human because they were running low on money.

Ok
Or at the very least, gave them more screen time
They did human designs so well. Especially wanda's hair
That honestly could have work and incorporated ways they play in disguise why wouldn’t they turn human sometimes now that I think about it 😂
That would have been amazing
I like these human interpretations of them, they seem much more like the pilot episode versions of themselves, with Cosmo being a bit more witty.
