DIY Window Film Installation

How to Apply Privacy, UV, Energy Efficient Window Film DIY. Got this Window Film from Amazon, but you can get this anywhere online, or in some retailers as well as automotive part stores, however, this is specific for home applications. It's definitely a time consuming task, but so worth it.
Window privacy film helps protect interiors against UV rays as well as adds privacy, energy efficient properties, and enhances the look of the windows.
Super easy to apply, makes it easier with a helper.
Supplies:
razor blades
soapy water with spray bottle
microfiber towel
xacto/utility knife
rubber/felt tip squeegee
scissors to cut film to size
tape measure

I need to do mine. I did a few windows and never finished. I bought ours at Home Depot but I don’t feel it keeps the heat out as much as I thought it would☹️. What I get for wanting so many windows 😂

lol this made me chuckle. I think it definitely helps, the best quality I've seen are some 3M films, but yeah it's not cheap!! I still have to finish other ones, but lots of windows here too, that's going to be for another day though.
