    Founding an Assassin Brotherhood is hard work soooo, why not chase hippos, map the stars and hunt for treasure instead?! Here's Ellen with 10 things you'll do in Assassin's Creed Origins instead of fulfilling your special assassin destiny. Enjoy!

      Wait a second, how would Senu help re-explain the origin of the Assassins' eagle-vision? Unless you're suggesting that...oh, _ew._

      @storytellingchampion6438 7 лет назад +2

      XDDDDDDDDDD I think some sort of artifact will like mix up Bayek and Senu's senses or something like that. As before we were told the eagle vision was something passed down from the precurser race

    Whilst that snake had no need for treasure, she certainly was enjoying a nap in her roomy retirement home, eagerly expecting a visit any day now from her three children and twelve grandchildren. She probably was musing on how the visit would surely cheer her up, after all it was only last week that she visited the tomb of her husband on the anniversary of his death two years ago. Her grandchildren's sweet little forked tongues and darting eyes full of life and curiosity always warmed her heart and helped relieve the icy pangs of grief and pain she had felt since the passing of her late husband. Can you picture how the cries and shrieks of joy and excitement of the visiting family a few days from now sharply turned to pain and terror upon finding their grandmother's charred body limp and lifeless upon the floor? Was satisfying your greed for treasure really worth all that pain and suffering Ellen? Did that grandmother truly deserve to die for a few cold and lifeless coins?

    • @thedaed
      @thedaed 7 лет назад

      Edward Nigma snakes are cold blooded, mate. As soon as they hatch, they are are ready to live independently and often mothers will consume their young and vice versa.

    • @edwardnigma9756
      @edwardnigma9756 7 лет назад +2

      It's also unusual for snakes to have retirement homes and tombs ;)
      On a more serious note, a few species of snakes (like the King Cobra) will actually construct nests and stay in the area of their hatchlings once they've hatched. Whilst the snake she killed is unlikely to be a King Cobra (I'd guess it was probably an Egyptian Cobra), my point still stands that not all snakes are as cold-blooded as you think and a little exageration never hurt a joke.

    6:40 That would mean that eagle vision would have been retconned at least twice. Originally, eagle vision was the animus representation of the ancestor's increased reflexes. It was then explained that eagle vision was a result of 1st civilisation DNA in a certain individual.

      o k I'm playing on normal and considering to raise the difficulty. Bayek is a machine and one of the most bad ass characters in any game in over 30 years of gaming. My favorite 3rd person game is probably devil may cry 3 for the record. I liked black flag and syndicate and played a bit of ac 1 and 2 and it is not my favorite series. I have found syndicate to be amazingly fun more than the othere. I still have 1 power moon in Mario and am on the second level of wolfenstein 2 and my destiny 2 char is only level 10 and I haven't watched stranger things season 2 because this game is the best game I've played possibly ever. I can't get over how fun the combat is and playing it on 4k is a sight to behold on pc. This game is going to end up being one of my forever games with 100 plus hours. Can't get enough of the photo mode. The most gorgeous game I've ever seen. Every zone is a whole different biome and the combat is vicious and bloody and so so satisfying. I didn't get my hidden blade for 16 hours and I had tons of fun just throwing people on the ground and killing them while they are laying there. The assassin Bayek is the best assassin of the series. I hope at least one person was convinced to play this game from me or others here and can truly see what a joy it is.

    QUICK TIP: if you see the overcharge gauge as blue, you would be killing your enemy with a possibly instant kill charge attack. If yellow, it would be powering your attacks, mostly on sickled swords or heavy blades and blunts. Meaning the blue is good for killing those in 1v1 battles and the yellow is good for multi-enemy battle.

    Bayek is the guy you play as, im sure it was just a slip of your words but yeah.... The mini stone hedges also lead to something nice near the sphinx, just make sure to so them all then just get 50, silica don't ask why just look in tombs for it, trust me it is so worth it.

    With all the origin things for the brotherhood, like the symbol itself, the creed, etc. one thing I noticed that I'm not sure others did was Aya has a house in Alexandria, and the only way to get in is through an awning in the sun room, very much looks like the bureau entrances in the original AC that Altaire checks into when on a job. Later the first bureau opens in Memphis, same deal.

    Assassin's Creed Origins is made with passion & lots of hard work. I think it's going to be the best game in the whole series. Ashraf Ismail has done such a great job & Egypt looks insanely beautiful in this game.

    The audio isn’t Bayek talking with his father. It’s him and his son.
    Eagle vision was inherited from the ones who came before. They crossbred with humans and the ones that have mixed dna inherited some of their “abilities”

    This game was on sale recently and I got it because of you guys! I'm not usually into one-character, one-storyline, action AAA games, but you sold me on this one (especially with the Discovery Tour). I've really enjoyed everything in the game but I really wish it had MORE of the RPG stuff. Traversing Egypt and hunting for stuff in the mid-game (when you're strong enough to not die, but not so powerful that you've already done everything) is really fun.
    But I've got 900 hours logged in Skyrim, and it always feels like there's more to do (and more mods to try, which Ubisoft games don't really have), and about 100 hours into Assassin's Creed Origins I'm kinda just DONE. Maybe the biggest difference is only having a single character and a single main story, and you're basically always a "rogue". A proper RPG like Skyrim has character creation and more approaches to possible character builds - if that was a thing in this game, I'd spend 1000 hours in it, EASY.
    I definitely got my money's worth, and it's been great, but I wish there was more! I'm looking forward to checking out Odyssey... once I get a computer that can run it! Origins I've had all the graphics set on LOW quality, and I still think it looks amazing (maybe because I'm so accustomed to playing Skyrim)!

    I think Ellen has something against the animals in this game (bar eagles and cats) after the whole hippo / crocodile beef in previous episodes.

    You can just use your horse or camel to hunt them down and attack them with your melee weapon. This is also helpful if you have the automatic loot skill in the melee category in the skill tree. Well, spears may be helpful for its long range. This is also helpful if you have the charge heavy attack skill if you are having trouble hunting down these creatures.

    If you had you'd know that it is Bayek reliving his memories with Khemu, his son, the son who died in the prologue missions. Also, aligning all 12 constellations gives you access to the tomb under the Sphinx. This is where the Isu Armour is obtained.
