I don't understand Jims comment about sick moms and camp. Can someone enlighten me or tell me their opinion?
he was initially joking about whether or not the camp was just for kids with unwell (sick) parents, but then he switched it when she repeated it back to him to be a camp for kids with mentally sick parents. I think it was a joke on stage parents who push their kids to succeed at a young age and actually end up exploiting them!
No, Jim Carrey has joked before that lots of comedians and comics he’s known have had sick moms, including his own. That’s why he’s saying it should be a prerequisite that a comic should have a sick mom. It’s just a joke.
