Looks great...personally would have gone for the subway straight tiles...have you changed the carpet you absolutely hated?...

Love the kitchen. It reminds me so much of you and is a lovely tie in to your living room.
Oh I have seen a lovely tall canister that would work there.
I will try and find the link and send it to you later xx

Thanks Kara, we love it so much. We definitely do have a style and colour palette that we lean towards for sure. Blues and white with lots of wood and natural textures; kind of coastal I guess. Every room I think we’ll try something a bit different, and we still end up right back in the same style again. 😆

@@DearBeautiful there is nothing wrong in going with what you love and I think they are all slightly different but flow beautifully zz

I’ve been wanting to redo my kitchen and yours is perfect!! My current kitchen is so similar to your one before. How did you manage the change over of your countertop? Did the people that installed your new one also remove your old one? Did you have a plumber change your sink etc? I literally have no idea what sort of person I’m supposed to hire to do these things 😂

Awww thank you! We had a carpenter do the countertops; he removed the old one and installed the new, and he also removed and then reinstalled the sink. We did have a gas plumber disconnect and then reinstall the hob though, because it’s gas and has to be done safely. He came the day before the carpenter to remove it, and then back the following afternoon to put it back in. The tops were completely replaced within a day it was a pretty straightforward job. If you don’t have a built in hob like us, then it’s literally just a job for a carpenter/kitchen fitter.

I love this kitchen 😍 I’ve just bought some frenchic paint and my sister said to check your insta account and I’m glad I did!! It’s beautiful. Can I ask how you painted the cupboards? Did you use a brush or roller and did you remove them to paint them? I’ve used brush but your finish is so much better. How long did it take you?

Awww thank you. I used a brush for the nooks and crannies, but a small foam roller is your best friend for a really smooth finish. I used the roller as much as I possibly could because the finish is so lovely. Just make sure its a foam one. I did my cupboards in fits and starts over a few days.

@@DearBeautiful Thank you! I’m going to give the foam roller another go as I didn’t like it first time round. Thanks for the advice ☺️
