I am not a fan of the duel mass flywheel and self adjusting clutch, give me a good old solid flywheel they always worked well, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

Hi M8 would the engine still turn over as normal if the chain had slipped? Guy i work with parked his 118 up and a couple of days later would not start but turned over s normal ,He got a Diagnostic guy out and he said the chain had slipped,But i cant see how that would happen myself if its turning over and sound ok

It's unlikely the chain has slipped, unless it was rattling really bad and the guides had fallen apart, it will snap like mine did, did he get any fault codes? Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

@@aaanton11 WE had a decent scanner on it and no codes of any relevant came up and it turns over like it should just does not start,Im going to have another go at getting the crankshaft position sensor off this week end ,Thanks for the reply

That's the strangest idea for a clutch I have ever seen. Trust BMW to make something simple complicated. Great Idea using a pallet.
