I made this tonight. I stayed very close to the recipe, just adding some garlic, a little white wine for deglazing the pan after browning the chicken, and a little salt and a little sugar to the onions when they were cooking. The results were spectacular. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely worth a try.

I just did. Put the skillet in the oven under the broiler for a few minutes. Worked for me.

That is definitely delicious! I've been cooking that for many years, but I use chicken stock and I don't use cheese. Just to clarify, thyme is a herb, not a spice.

Made this tonight (4/15/2019) and it was great! Easy dish for dinner - thanks for posting! Another subscriber and a few views. I found this to be a relatively quick and tasty dish. I used diced onions from my freezer (about 3 cups), onions cook down and shrink a lot! The beef broth was a good idea, I think it really works well in this dish. Used 1lb of chicken breast (in my case 4 x 4oz. portions). Nothing too difficult in the dish. Will definitely make again!
