So happy with the loading in pass through, literally wanted it the last few times I’ve been stuck in darkness waiting for a game to load
Same. I’m not a fan of feeling like I’m in a dark void during loading.
I just want the ability to permanently remove apps from app list. Still seeing them after install is annoying. I know you can select just installed games, but just let me remove it from the list completely if I want to.

They need to update their browser to support Netflix in the browser. Their browser functionality is so old!!!
Well... mobile browsers don't support Netflix... the browser is on an android device. It is a mobile browser.
I would recommend sideloading the normal Netflix app. It supports downloading like on your phone
@@coltynstone-lamontagne the sideloaded Netflix app is trash. I tried it and it’s down right horrendous. All they would have to do is let the browser support html5 player. It’s not a big deal.

Most city planning offices have the same data Meta will get from a room scan and it's mostly public info, I'm not too worried about it.

Question, My Quest 2 will no longer cast to my tv. I finally bought a tv that was compatible and casting to it was unbelievably easy the first time and automatic after that. Now 2 weeks later I keep receiving detailed instructions saying I have to cast to the app on my phone and then mirror it to the tv. Was that something in the last update, will it be fixed soon? or is it me, is there something I'm not doing correctly? Thanks for your tireless efforts to keep us informed about all the new stuff VR can do. It really is amazing!

So glad they changed true black isolation loading screen.
Vr can be so isolating, empty and lonely. Little touches like that could make the experience so much better !
Just tested the new Gold Mine environment, a really cool one. Btw I read just now that supposedly the mic sound quality has been improved on this release without mentioning it in the release notes. Will certainly test that out.
Hmm... I wonder if the layout utility app will allow you to do angled ceilings yet. That was the main problem with pass-through games... The ceiling had to be flat instead of vaulted.
I hope they can do the same with motors for cars, vans, trucks & etc. i really don’t know the names of the parts of the vehicle, but it would be nice to see it (lighting up that specific part) so that I can replace/fix it. And it would be nice if the VR can show me how to fix/replace it.

Still no option to completely disable boundaries and use passthrough at the same time. This seems like a no brainer type of feature. Especially for stationary play like racing and flight sim.
I hate it when flight siming. The boundary is so irritating. Of course my desk is here, the joystick is there
Enabling developer mode then the option to disable boundaries becomes present
@frankraym Yes, developer mode allows you to turn off boundaries. But it also turns off pass-through. As in you are stuck in VR mode with Boundaries turned off. There is no option to turn Pass-through back on at that point. Do you even own a Quest 3? Because if you did, you would understand my original comment.
AFAIK that’s up to the developers to implement, current apps were made with quest 2 in mind and will take a while until they update it.
I just wish Meta forced that, devs don’t have the time to do it and some apps are no longer updated.
@euden_yt A hard-coded feature in Oculus software has nothing to do with an app developer. It's not an app feature either. It's a firmware issue that's controlled by Meta and only they can enable or disable it.
I was hoping they would add dynamic occlusion by now. They've had plenty of time to refine this feature and have a purpose built depth sensor...
The feature is available for developers, but it consumes more battery and might slow the framerate.

They should fix the grady passthrough screen. At this point it almost seems like its just misleading with some having good screen but most having horrible passthrough.
You forgot about one small "update" in the software. Meta REMOVED option to see notification from phones. Disappointing decision :(
Meta removed the Layout Utility app from v60 😮 even from the change log..... why??? 😢

I wish the current home environments were higher definition. I love the space station environment, but the planet and the stars look terrible. Also shouldn't the planet be moving, and the space station orbiting around the planet? I'll have to try the side quest environments.

Funny how this should be really easy. They could make a mode where the hud just stick to your face like Ironman's. It's not even have to track on anything, it could be just a 2D hud render dirrect on the screen.

You're completely lying. Everyone I know who bought this over-hyped junk have already returned it. You're clearly being sponsored. Nothing beats the Worst Pro or the Pico 4, period!

Really isn't .... My psvr2 was returned after trying for a week, absolutely loved the psvr1, but the new one apart from the obvious improved graphics is not a patch on the first one, build quality not very impressive, controllers feel like cheap plastic crap, and made me feel real sick which I've never experienced with the first one or the quest 3, wireless is the game changer for me can take the quest anywhere and a big percentage of games don't need Internet connection once downloaded, mixed reality is another level too.

This update causes my Quest 3 battery to drain even when it's turned off. It was fine before.
That's all I needed to hear so I will not update..
