Thank you, glad you enjoyed this 😊 it was one of the first virtual runs I made. I don't add music anymore, so it's all just natural sounds! Thanks for the sub 😁
I've been cycling to this because I have a running injury. That path through the beautiful countryside which you can use in all weathers...I'm so jealous!!!!
How do you find cycling to it? I'd have thought it would be too slow? Yes' I'm very lucky to have such nice places near me. I think that's one of the reasons I wanted to make these videos, to share them with other people. I hope your injury heals soon.
@@CraigBridges Cycling to it is fine. Thanks for the videos, hopefully the injury won't last too long, it's an achilles problem which I want to sort out for when the running events start again !
@@CraigBridges Did you stop running while you had the achilles problem Craig, or did you carry on running and do all the icing, stretches and strengthening exercises in between?
@@grahamwilliams8871 I actually carried on running, but with a couple of days between runs, lot's of stretching and used my TENS machine on it most days. That seemed to settle it. I also ran on soft surfaces more frequently.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. I'm in the process of filming one along the canal from Bradford-on-Avon to Bath, it should hopefully be even smoother than this one. I've just checked out your channel, it looks great.
Thank you for this! I had to do 11 miles on the treadmill in prep for my half in february 2021 and it was too cold and snowy and icy to do it outside. This video saved my sanity!
You're very welcome 😊 I hope you enjoyed the route. If you did I've posted some others you might like even more, including the Bradford-on-Avon to Bath along the canal video. Well done on getting your run in and good luck with the half.
@@CraigBridges I’ll definitely have to check that one out too! It’s getting cold and snowy where I live so more and more of my training is being done on the treadmill. So “running” somewhere sunny was nice. The transitions were great in this video, I did enjoy it! Thank you!
We had the tiniest flurry of snow here and that's probably it for this year! I didn't appreciate how nice the runs look until winter arrived. Thank you, I tried to keep the run as continuous and smooth as possible, which does mean some fiddly edits!
Recently I started to film my whole running and upload to my channel, then RUclips recommended similar videos to me~ I like it! especially because I run a lot on treadmill. keep sharing~
@@CraigBridges Great~and personally speaking, I do like videos with the original background sound, even if runners are breathing hard, which is more real world.~
I've stopped adding music to them now. Music is also a personal choice, so people can add their own music if they want. But I might start doing two versions, one with music and one with natural sounds.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the run, I often wonder how people react to things like that - it always looks closer on video! I have 2 new virtual runs coming up soon, both without music.
I have only run half of it so far, but I am enjoyong it so far. I am not a great lover of the music, I prefer the natual sounds. Do you have this run wothout the music?
Thanks Pete, this is one of the virtual runs I didn't move over to my Swift Trails channel because I didn't think it was good enough. I put music over it because my breathing sounded terrible! I did try to edit this one and remove the music at one point but I think I have lost the original video files, so wasn't able to. I have 2 hour video using a similar route to this one that I'm going to publish later this year, which doesn't have any music.
I use a GoPro Hero 7 with an iSteady Pro gimbal. I hold it in my hand while running, it's hard work! I show what my gimbal looks like in this video: ruclips.net/video/ecH2ogzjHug/видео.html
Hey there, I just found your video and used today for my run! I gotta say I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Couple of dogs off leash and some cars outta nowhere lol. Great job! Also very nice pace. I only got to 11 miles on my run. Did you find it difficult to film this while running? The video was so smooth guess you weren't able to swing one of your arms as much?
Hey James, glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, this one was particularly tricky, especially since it was the first time I'd run most of the route! Well done on your run, I do find it very difficult to film these (much harder than a normal run, my arm gets very tired too). I use a gimbal but still need to hold my left arm more less straight out in front the whole time (like the avatar in my channel art!). I've created some more virtual runs since this one that I think have turned out better, for example my Bradford-on-Avon to Bath one, which is very scenic and smooth. Good luck with your running and merry xmas!
I stopped adding music to my virtual runs after this one. This was the second one I made, so I was still learning about what worked. My newer videos sound much nicer!
Nice video run. Great pace and music. I appreciated letting the ambient sound come through in the edit. It made it more real. I'm subscribing. 🙂

Even I have enjoyed the videos of yours I have seen, I might say this one has become my favorite. Well done!!!
Thanks Ac! This one is certainly my most popular virtual run. Got loads more planned for spring.
Fine camera work. One of my favorite running videos. Keep up the great work. I see success for your channel.
Thank you Justin, that's very kind of you. I'm glad you enjoyed the run too. Good luck with your running.
yo man, I did enjoy this one very much - great scenery and great mood
