I just randomply came accross this after having searched for exactly this very thing earlier today😄 i have a bag of old wire hangers the worst of which I thought to repurpose as trellices for my new hoya! This seems like a pretty sturdy and easy way to bend them for a simple and clean look!
@EverythingPlants yes, with the crazy tendrils going every which way. I have an Australis (green) that's trellised, but because of my laziness, it is invading its neighbors. Lol.
Me who spent $40 on small trellises yesterday and has a bin full of wire hangers in the basement: 😩thank you for this tip, I only bought two because they were expensive, nice to know I can do all the rest of the Hoyas for exactly $0 😅

Have fun!
We don’t have those wire hangers, but I’ve got lots of wire to make my own!
oh sweet!
I need to do this too! ❤
I think it looks way better than just having them trailing. Good luck!

Seeing things like this make me regret starting with baby plants 😅
How come? This one was started as a very small plant as well. The secret is they like bright light lol
@@EverythingPlants it's because I want to do this NOW. 😭

Will the metal rust and kill the plant?
The ones I currently have in parts don't seem to be rusting and the plants are doing fine.
