    Great video showing the real loss on a higher frequency. Could you please delight us with another video but longer at 440 MHZ.

      The loss at 440 MHz will be much less....less than 1db so not to worry it.

    How about the loss at 27 MHZ? I purchsed this today to replace some aged RG-213. And hoping for better resaults and less loss.

      The loss at HF is insignificant at 20-50ft.

      Purchsed 75 Feet of the KMR 400.

      50 feet of KMR-400 around 0.412 dB or 9% power loss. 50 feet of RG-213 is at 0.561 dB 12% power loss. Not a huge difference at that frequency.

      What about a difference between this and LMR400 with a length of 100’? I’m trying to decide if it’s worth spending the extra money. Will be used for GMRS.
