My Grandfather served on the USS Norris DD859 (Gearing Class). He was a 19 years old machinist and was in charge of the engine room and like 10-15 guys. He has so many great stories about his time in the navy.

Slightly tankier, slightly different fire angles, slightly faster, smaller crew. Barely different. The main one is the Search and Track Radar. Which is really useful. It's the sort of ship that should really be foldered with the Sumner IMO not on the other side of the tech tree.

You are a rare example o7 it disappoints me so many players just AFK in it. When they could earn 4 times as much with a small amount of effort. I know full well the capabilities of the Moffett. I was an early adopter of her on release and had a great time. It's a great earner and the repair cost is comedic. Thanks for watching! o7
I would say that penetration is superior with the mk.46 shell at all angles. It is also a slightly heavier shell. So you have a much better chance of getting through the hull and doing crew or ammo damage. It also allows you fight light cruisers more effectively. The lower TNT filler is compensated by the fact that you will pen most destroyers everytime you score a hit. Hope this helps o7
