My first baby is due in February and I'm trying to make sure my registry is filled with things we will actually use. Your series on pacifiers and bottles has helped amazingly with choosing the right products! Thank you x100!
@Alwaysadventuringg For Pacifiers I put the Phillips Avent soothie and Dr Browns Happypaci on my registry. Since they are different materials I want to try both. I had been gifted some Dr. Brown bottles years ago so those I'll give them a shot. I added the Lansinoh bottles to my registry to try. I plan on bottle feeding breast milk so the bottles are not optional for me.
My husband and I are TTC with my first and I just found your page. I'm seriously so grateful for your advice and honesty. There really aren't enough of these conversations and your insights are simply amazing. Thank you for all that you do!!!! Instant sub ❤
I love the RazBaby JollyPop. They are similar to the Avent but don’t get in the way of the babies nose. They are also the ones used in the NICU at my hospital and were recommended by my lactation consultant!
My twins don't like pacifiers but one of them will occasionally take it if I try giving it to him. The pacii definitely kept sliding out of his mouth, not to mention that the base is obnoxiously huge and covers so much of their face, so if they move their head a little or bring their hands towards their face, it'll get knocked out of their mouth.
I would say its not as important of a priority but babies do utilize those same muscles for feeding at a bottle and for eating later in life so developing them is important
Hi nurse Tina! Love your vids. I’m currently pregnant and hoping to breast feed! What would be the closest one you would recommend to the Ninni co that is more budget friendly?
THANK YOU! I keep seeing the ads for the Paci and they bug me!! I hate how much they bash other pacifiers and claim up and down that its the best for breastfed babies. Its not round or gradual! Especially since it was supposedly created by a lactation consultant!! Ugh!
Could you review silicone milk collectors next? I see several different styles available. I did see you had the ladybug in one, but what about the two-piece ones?
As a breastfeeding momma, I love the ladybug milk collectors! I put it on the opposite side while baby eats on one side, and it collects all the letdown that would otherwise be lost to the nursing pad. I put it into a milk bag throughout the day, and I have enough after a day or 2 to freeze. It doesn't create an oversupply like pumping would, and is super easy to use and clean. It also fits/sits inside your bra, so you don't have to worry about it being knocked off by baby kicking it while feeding. Just today I forgot I had it on and was reclined back on the couch, and not a drop spilled out. I also had it on while chasing (literally) my 2 year old for a diaper change getting ready for bed. Also no leakage.
Ok Nurse Tina!! Which are you're top 3? I'm Nursing preemie boys, and might need a pacifier to help me when one of the twins has to wait, but I'm afraid to cause nipole confusion. Also, they're suckling reflex and jaw muscles are not as developed as full term babies, so I'm trying to be careful and informed! Thank you! I LOVE your videos!
I ordered the ninni co to australia as my last resort, she wouldn't take it. I now have a very heavy 11 week old since she uses me for her dummy. I need a break from the couch!

What about pacifiers if you didn't breastfeed is it still the same concept? Also, can you talk about how to wean them off the pacifier lol

I have a 6 week old and I bought the paci, I do agree that he slides down on it!constantly comes out of his mouth

Do you recommend a pacifier to help with breastfeeding?
You’re a hero! Thank you so much!
Can you review the Minbie Koala? It’s a weird shape but they say it’s good for preserving breastfeeding

Tommee tippee Breast like review, not just the regular one. I would like your thoughts on it.
What pacifier would you recommend for a 10 month old (who is well established w breastfeeding)?
Can you do parents choice next please
And can you do formulas for next please

In all of these videos she has liked Lee lee + me, Dr Brown's happy paci, and this one the ninni
Dr browns happy paci, Lee Lee and me, Philips avent soothie and the Ninni co!
Much mahalo! This helps SO much! @@mamanursetina
Can you choose to have a C-section or not?
You can. But it’s important to know the risks and benefits of both options before making that choice
@@mamanursetina oh ok thanks
Razbaby Jellies???
My son will NOT take a Ninni Co which sucks because you can’t return them after you’ve used them
The problem with the ninni co is it’s like a balloon. There is not substance or thickness to the sucking part. It just collapses flat.

Ha I just tried it again and it worked for us this afternoon, I'm so happy!
My son hated the Pacii the things massive, he honestly hates all pacifiers. He just wants me😬
