- I replace the original 318 with a 440 big block! I have wanted to do this for a long time, and finally I found a good 440 within my budget. Supposedly It was pulled from a running 1973 Plymouth Imperial. I pulled it apart and put a new timing chain kit, windage tray, oil pickup, intake and carburetor. There is still some work to be done but all the hard stuff has been finished. Next video we fire it up for the first time and possibly take it for a test drive. Make sure your subscribed so you don't miss it!
Hell yes. Saw the charger in the Honda spree video and was drooling.
O.K. Kid...I'm subscribed...good vid.Great to see young folks pulling wrenches on old iron
About 23 years ago when I tore my 440 down the oil pickup was jam-packed full of those Teflon teeth from the cam gear. Good choice on the double row timing gear set.
Sweet ride I like what you doing with it,my dad had a black 68 charger I loved riding in it
Appreciate the support Bobby! Should be on the road soon🤟🏼 Stay tuned!
Good music kid and was that Pantera playing in the background and definitely keep up the work on the car forward progress is good progress
Good job. Best thing is time spent with your Dad. My sons and me have worked on many projects together. Always a great time to spend with them. They have their own kids now and very soon they will be turning wrenches with their Dad and Grandpaw. These are times you will always treasure. My sons are car guys just like their Dad. And my Grandkids have their passion for cars too. Just on a smaller scale. I should call them and have them come over and help with my 70 GTX. We may not get much mechanic work done, But we will take some trips down memory lane or Blvd.
I’ve made lots of great memories wrenching! Unfortunately not that many young people have a passion for old cars. Thanks for the comment Randy👍🏼
I like the music
Soo cool man.🙏
I appreciate the stills at the end of the video. It balances well with the video progress.
Hah Disturbed. I've been listing to most of 10k fists a lot lately. Overburdened is my fav. Love the band though always go back to listening to them. Mixed feelings on electric, some of the specs of the new Corollas look pretty decent but Iunno if it's worth it in the end to have all that complexity, recent gas prices do actually make a huge difference on electric viability.
nice man
Excellent vid!! Love the Scott P. cameo. 👋 Great progress, top notch video production, well done. Best of luck making it to Woodburn 2023!!
Couldn’t have done it without mopar Scott🤟🏼 You’ll have to swing by sometime!
Single piece lockdown wont work on your Charger, needs a 3 piece.
If kick down / throttle valve not on or adjusted correctly it will smoke the trans in first 50 miles.
Yeah, you want that car to be shaking when throttling :)
I like the color BLUE STREET HEMI better.
440👌
Thought the hemi orange would be cool but now kinda wish I painted it torques which would’ve been factory
@@Mechanic_kid 👌
Good to see you're making progress.
What's better than a 440?
A 440 Max Wedge.

Did you change the k, member
Nope! Only difference is the 440 motor mounts and a shorter drive shaft
So are they conversion motor mounts?
How do you find the Charger ?
