    I am a Muslim and I have been listening to this song (as well as a few others by Tree63) since I was a teen. There are several differences between Islam & Christianity, but I believe that, at the end of the day, we all believe in God Almighty. I would much rather listen to a song, such as this, which has a good, positive message, than listening to all of the other songs today which promote drugs and alcohol, talk about disrespecting women and urge you to take the dark path in life.

      Jesus Christ is the truth, the way and the life. No one comes to the father, but through Him. Please seek Him with all your heart and He will reveal Himself to you. He is the Savior, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. Pray to Jesus friend! His Grace abounds to all who seek the truth! Don't be afraid, He will change your heart and your life and He will give you faith. You will be born again if Jesus touches you through the Holy Spirit.

      @@abdullahimohammed6737 there is no need for disrespect. @jean van der walt was merely stating what she believes to be an absolute truth. I.e. that Christianity doesn't allow for blurry lines, or grey areas. Jesus is truth. He is life. No one can "believe" in God Almighty without knowing Jesus. An easy example is when people look at our children, they would often say "Like father like son" or "Like mother like daughter". I.e. Your son is like you, and Jesus is like His Father. If you know the son, you have a pretty good idea of who/how his father is.

    • @reinicols
      @reinicols 3 года назад +4

      @@foreignwarren7361 I understand. I always admire how Jesus Christ, salvation and eternal life sounds utterly illogical to some, while completely rational to others. It's almost as if there is some unexplainable propensity within these two groups. I, for one, belong to the latter and have known Jesus for most of my life. But I also know people who once belonged to the first and then shifted to the second group after an encounter with Jesus (either through a miracle or revelation of some kind)

    Very special song to me. My Friend and homegroup Leader Nevin got married and Nev and his wives opening dance was with million lights. It is 2021 January and Nevin passed away. He gets to hang out with our Creator under a million lights and rests in the loving arms of our Father. Tree63 thank you for your music through the years cause you guys seriously blessed my walk with God in a profound way. One thing I can say is don't let the behaviour of others create doubt in your heart about God and his role in your life. We have no place among the movers and the shakers but we are destined to stand in Christ that loves us with is life!

    Still such a beautiful and heartfelt song! It takes me back to happier times in South Africa 🇿🇦. Now I am beyond the waves in another country, south of the middle line, where there be Kangaroos but no lion, elephants, cheetah, leopard, buffalo. Listening to it, I felt such a mixture of happiness and sadness. I miss the friends that I used to listen to this song with, and we are scattered across the earth. Much has changed and it could be that we will never meet again on this side of eternity. Yet no matter where we are, it is good to know that God is with us and we can hang out with him and hear him breathing. Gosh, I really miss the KwaZuluNatal South Coast, and Limpopo Province / Northern Transvaal, even looking at the waves, and my family back in South Africa and the sounds of the birds and familiar trees. I know that in the country much has changed, some for the better, some for the worst, but this song reminds me so much of how I love my land and it’s people and have a much I miss my friends and the times that are gone that we shared. Time to make more happy memories!

    This song still brings me to tears. It is so beautiful. After reading what many others have said about this song, things that I was going to say myself, it's clear to me now how much Tree63 has meant to all of us, and how much they lit up our lives when we were kids. Personally, I remember the days and nights their music rescued my soul from severe depression and suicidal plans. When their songs played, my entire soul would just bloom and open up to a universe of love. They taught me how to love God for the Person He is and not for the deity people box Him into be. Tree63 were not the only ones who taught me how to look onto the world with hope. There were a select few. They all have somehow become part of my skin, and I am ever thankful for that. I hope that all these people, especially the members of Tree63, will find in their music what we all have found in them.

    I remember seeing Tree63 at a small venue when I was 13 and there were 100 people there. They were awesome from the start! A testament to the existence of God and the blessings he bestows. There is never a sustitute that the world can offer for being truly one with the Lord. We are created to find Him and when you do, your life is complete! Jesus is amazing and I wish that everyone would walk in fullness and true purpose with Him. He can be your best friend, if you just let Him.x

    This song takes me back to a really happier time. I had fallen in love for the very first time and he was just every bit of beauty that this world had to offer. We would just lay...wrapped in each others arms on the dying parts of a day and just be. I could just look at him...listen to him breathing. Just knowing he existed, that was the joy in my heart. I smile because although it ended, there is still fragments that exist in time and this song takes me to it. To you KvDB, thank you for the memories.
