It’s so funny because those trend hoppers who are hopping in this bandwagon are the same people who would bully and look down on the people that first went with this fashion style against the norm.
I remember back in 2015 I would wear sunday dresses and long pleated skirts to school and going home I got made fun of by school kids in the mall mocking me with "mermaid" and other mean things. I also wore vintage prints and got called "lola" by tricycle drivers. Fast forward to now, most girls love to wear long dresses and vintage prints. Just wear what you want, fashion is a personal preference. People who judge others for what they wear are small-minded anyways. They can't think for themselves that's why they typically form groups.

Filipino fashion trends is often a reflection of Foreign fashion trends seeping our wardrobe palette. You are open to People trying these trends but still feeling weirded out. A lot of us think that way too; The most obvious emotion you and I feel are likely feeling is CRINGE.
The reason why I don't like these so-called "fashion mfs" is that they're posers. It's so clear that they just saw ts on tiktok thought it was cool so they start wearing em too. To be clear I don't hate these individuals i just don't like the fact that once this trend is over 80-90 percent of them would be over it too. Which is the sad part, since you're already in there might as well go all the way. Basically, they're not committed to fashion they're committed to the trend. Cool vid btw rare na makakita ng ganitong commentary vid dito sa Philippines lol
idk kung bakit pero bat parang mahahalata mo sa tao if they're wearing something that represents them o sinusuot lang nila kasi uso HAWHDASHDHASASHDASH
my take to this is: dapat these fashion mfs get educated even more in terms of the aesthetic and silhouettes plus it's not that pinanghihimasukan ko sila but they should learn behavior and mindset tied into dressing up like that kase yung iba ay guilty for bullying people for sporting these clothing bago pa naging "in". Also, to get educated even more na they try to be more creative and don't just follow the generic formula. Iayon din sa weather, try more combos that still follow the inspo and avoid items that make the look "baduy" and "cheap". edit: taking Frederico Genciana as an example is really good!
