I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but you have impeccable diction: no filler words, clear pronunciation, steady pace, no pauses, and most amazingly, no cuts in the video. I'm sure you re-record them, but it's still amazing. I thought to myself "No way, he must have a teleprompter" and then I remebered you recorded videos where your your face was smashed into a towel but kept on speaking like documentary voice-over.
I've had chronic neck and upper back pain for the last 5 years. I'm so so glad you uploaded this, these exercises feel great. Making this a part of my daily routine!
My neck ,upper and mid back are my most pain causing areas. These exercises feel so good! Thank you so much! Appreciate that you provide these free videos!
Your posture in the video even is helping me! It reminds me to keep my "chin up" which helps my posture and upper back pain. Truly a lifesaver! Thanks for everything you do!
@@DrRowe The exercise started working right off the bat. I started working out in mid-July, and I am adding this information to involve in my workout. Thank you so much, I am going to watch your channel and you are on my favorite list!
This was what I needed so badly..god I can't believe how a little bit of relif feels..I was dying for the past 10 days..my upper body hurts so bad I couldn't do anything...thank you so much..as soon as I did the 8 I could feel the problem on my left blade..when I reached the upper trapez stretch the pain was 50% decreased..you are one of the few channel I really absolutely appreciate
I appreciate the specific instructions on how to complete each stretch. As a Massotherapist, I'm often asked for stretches. I've been referring them to your videos. Thank you
❤🎉 i have been draling eith neck and shoulder pain for 2 months and these stretches and movements really hit the spot! looking forward to healing much faster now! thank you
The videos and short videos you've produced are absolutely fantastic! All of these exercises and stretches are helping immensely. I have trouble visualizing movements when they're given to me on a 25th generation photocopy of a not-so-good drawing, but watching this channel removes all such problems. Your explanations are clear and to the point without the unnecessary fluff that is in SO many YT videos. I really can't begin to thank you enough for doing this. Liked and subscribed!
I've been dealing with a sharp burning pain in my neck/upper back for years (because of kyphosis) and its become increasingly worse. Desperate for relief today, I found this video. The very first exercise (the figure 8) relived my pain immediately. Thank you for sharing this, it really helped. I'm saving the video so I can do these exercises every day
Thank you so much for this! I work in dentistry and was in agony after a busy day at work. Doing these stretches and exercises helped relieve the pain so much! Will definitely try to implement this tonmy daily routine!
Thank you. I am so grateful you have posted these. Very grateful. I was in so much pain from a flare up and didn't have the $$$ for help. After 3 days of your videos I can just about turn my head again and can look up much easier.
Very good Doc. That's the ticket. I'm 67 with a lot of physical miles, lol. What got me was it just started like right away. No build up to soreness, it just went from ok, to omg. Thank you very much
Every post you do is wonderfully helpful. I'm truly amazed at what doctors (who I've paid through the nose to see) haven't told me. I've been suffering for many years and only now (since watching your posts) am I finding out that there IS help, and the light at the end of the tunnel is NOT a train. I NOW HAVE HOPE FOR THE 1ST TIME REALLY EVER. THANKYOU SO VERY MUCH ❤🎉😊❤😂❤😊❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Doc. Been always stretching and working out on daily basis but always neglected care to my neck. Since aches brought it to my attention this tutorial of yours is simply vital to me. Thanks and keep up the great work!
These exercises are great! I would add posture is important if you suffer with this. Keep you chin out of your chest when on your cell phone and don't walk or sit with your head and neck leaning forward. God bless!
Thank you so much, Dr. Rowe, for your amazingly helpful videos! I have back issues all the way from my neck to SI joints, and every video of yours I've tried since discovering your channel a couple weeks ago has provided relief and improvement that I haven't found anywhere else. I have gone to many different chiropractors, physiotherapists, and massage therapists, but none have helped a fraction of how much the exercises on your videos have helped. Thank you, thank you, for making these videos available for free so that even those of us outside the US can benefit from them. One question: do you have a video that would help with arms going numb while sleeping? When I sleep on my side, the upper arm (not the arm I'm laying on) often goes numb. Also if I lay on my back and hold a book up, after a couple of minutes both arms go numb and I have to change position. Possibly the video above will give some relief to this issue - I've only done these upper back and neck exercises for the first time today and the exercises, like those in all your videos, really targeted and got to the problem areas.
My wife 60 years old and is a dentist. She has constant neck pain and is doing the exercises you show in your videos and they have worked well. Are there any additional exercises she can do for relief from her neck pain? The position she holds her body in to preform the dental work is the contributing factor that can’t be avoided and she loves her job and would like to work for at least another 5 years.
I have upper back and neck problem. Definitly 1. and 2. exercise are excellent that I can confirm! What I like to do with second..lay on bench and then strait arms in front of me and 3 tines up, Y opsition and 3 up, 90 degre and 3 up, behind back and 3 up and rest.
It been 2week now im in neck pain, now it getting worse, it effects my left arm now , it so painful..im like robot now😂.. I will give try this method ❤
Are all of these exercises/stretches good for nerve entrapment/impingement in both shoulders? Also, I am have significant issues with my vagus nerve. Thank you for the video!
I've having this problem for the past 2 months and I'm verily getting better from the back and shoulders I been putting vicks vaporub all over and is working I'm also getting my balance in my legs I can walk better I couldn't Walk now I'm feel so much better the only exercise I been doing is moving my hands and legs using a mini bike for the legs I do 100 and is working yes it hurts little when I move a little to fast but not major like before I hope I recover 💯🤞🍀✝️🙏
Hi from Bali doctor!. I always watch your video and try to do the exercise for neck you taught as well. Please answer my questions as i am wondering so much the pain on the left nose and left neck which i have been experiencing for years. I have no sinus and quite sure that this come from my neck. So my question is which part of neck can contribute nose pain? And if you have exercise for that. Thank you so much for answering my question.❤
I am having cervical pain (with radiating pain in right arm, forearm) & upper back pain. This was initiated because of heavy object lifting with improper posture. X-ray showed reduction in intervertebral space between C4&5 and C5&6. Cervical spine MRI reported mild desiccation of C4-5, C5-6, C6-7 discs. Diffuse circumferential disc bulges are seen in above discs, indenting subarachnoid space. No compromise of spinal canal, no compression of spinal cord, bilateral exiting nerves. Dorsal spine is fine as per reports (but having pain, dont know). I am doing desktop job for 9 hrs a day. Please suggest if I can do the said exercises.

@DrRowe
any advice for pain at the front of my left hip at the bottom of a barbell squat?
Those are some good exercises for sure. Thumbs up if you agree!
