My wife and i stayed at the the White Hart hotel for 3 nights - St Albans is amazing; i thought i'd died and gone to pub heaven - great video thanks - martyn
My 1970's introduction to real ale pub crawls when home on leave. Many of the pubs back then took CAMRA on board as it originated there. We usually ended up at the "Lower Red Lion", an early provider of real ale. Many may recognise the pub and street as it was often used for television dramas like Morse and Foyles War. Well St Albans is close to Elstree Studios. Many of the pubs featured in Morse are around St Albans. The Six Bells may be worth a look? The C4 series "Pub Dig" was there and it's built on the site of a Roman Inn at the Verulamium city walls.

Was that piccalilli with the scotch egg? Looked magnificent. And what a lovely place St Albans is.
It certainly was mate! Can't beat a bit of Piccalilli
Bruv how do you drink so much and not wobble? Do you get the small sized drinks or full pints at each place? Very impressive, great videos!
