All the same, a company has every right to terminate the employment of people who break the code of conduct of the company, such as having zero tolerance for harassment or assault. If the termination case is ruled wrongful, then the company would pay whatever is required of it. The person at the centre of the case would move on to some other job. So, no, people who play this game are not 'sell outs'.

Shades of The Sims 2 giving us Body Shop 6 months before the release. By the time the game was released there were A LOT of clothes available for dl at TSR.
It's quite average still, the only strength at the moment is being able to change colours and add patterns. I tried creating character and it felt still quite limited in terms of changes to face and body that can be done, I hope they improve it more.
INZOI devs did say there are working on allowing mods and cc to the game I’m so excited for this game and the amount of mods I have in the sims for CAS is literally already there this so amazing

I was at the gamescom in cologne germany and Inzoi had a HUGE area where we were able to test the game. After the game we had to do a survey and the first question was if we play the sims and if yes, how many hours 😂 then two question about the inzoi testplay and that was it 😂
My computer is not powerful enough! But that’s ok, because it’s 2024 and it’s about time we started playing something better than what we’ve been tied down with! 🎉

The asymmetrical feature is wicked. Elden Ring was the first game I’d ever played that had that feature, and giving my character my lazy eye was wild and pretty cool.

The "customize outift" thing is a tool to CREATE new outifts, it doesn't change the pre-made tops/bottoms your zoi is wearing. So you basically create your top/bottom style and import a mesh on it, change colors etc. I found it a little confusing at first but it's a great tool, I really hope they expand it more!
This looks so Korean (styles and also there were many clearly Korean face presets), which is no surprise since the developer is based in korea. it's interesting to see how it affects the gameplay/vibe of the game especially comparing to Sims!
Don't get me wrong, the grafics are gorgeous, but seeing hyper realistic people with slightly cartoony movements and reactions sometimes ends up giving strange vibes (to me atleast). I notice this especially with the clapping animation. Still seems like it's going to be a good game nonetheless, just my personal opinion.
The filters are not just for photo mode, they work in game at all times! So if you want a more cartoon look, just leave the cartoon filter on. I think that's why there's not thaaat many of them.
They did say they’re fully supportive of cc in the game, and that they’re trying to make it so modders have access (or whatever the technical terms would be). I specifically remember k. jun talking about wanting the game to be moddable for cc ☺️

iirc there's no sure-fire android alternative for such a feature, so it's been iOS-only for such things for years. So at least for a beta game, it using Apple's facial capture makes sense to be sure it can actually function.
the chin cleft you had as well as even more details like eye bags, cheeks, jawline and more are under skin details. I guess they need to make it more easily accessible so people notice it or don't skip over it
There's probably multiple ways to make people able to do these detailed settings maybe when clicking the area to open the detailed settings, or having a symbol pop up, or something else to get your attention
I tried it too!! liked it but sliders ain't sliding 🤣I wish we could change more the body anatomy using sliders or at least they'd let us choose different body types without changing the whole model back in step 1. Also different chin, nose, eyes, ears, lips... without changing the whole face... but it looks promising
I'm so happy we finally have masculine clothing in a life sim game. (nothing against fem-boys, but if I want a masculine character, I want a masculine one). And the game looks really beautiful, I've tested it already (the character creator of course). Can't wait for the game!. Graphics are beautiful and it's exactly what I like. I don't like cartoony graphics, looks too childish.
Whenever I create a sim I have to make it look as realistic as possible(Alpha or whatever its called CC is superior) cuz I hate the cartoonish look.. I'm also happy there's actual masculine clothing.. This is against EA not lgbtq+ but they focus way too heavily on "inclusivity" and gets rid of the in qoutes "traditional" masculinity..

And of course, I'm not against lgbt, specially when it comes to a life sim game which is intended to simulate every aspect of life. they are going to have different game filters on launch that offer a more cartoonish visual experience so that might help the game feel less hyper realistic:))
There's two of us. I'm more of a Maxis Match kind of chap, but I have heard there's a filter you can apply, that will make the zoi's a but more cartoony.
There's going to be filters to change the look of the game. So if you want the cartoony look, they will have it. I even saw a filter for black and white. The different filters will not only make the game unique but the storytelling will be different for everyone. Pixelade had early access and showed the cartoon filter and it looked good and I know alot of people will be using that filter because it looks like the Sims/Paralives.
Family name being first is a cultural thing. When being introduced to other cultures, it helps to know this because you may refer to someone by their family name instead of their given name by accident. I also try to avoid using the terms last name and first name because they are ambiguous unless you know the custom of the culture you're referencing. It's really hard when UI designers use these terms.

i know everyone keeps saying you need a NASA supercomputer, but, aren’t they average 2024 game specs? min i5, recommended i7 seems pretty typical, especially for heavier games like life sims.
Yes, yes they are average specs. And the game literally loaded more quickly than TS4 for me (which I just got rid of all my CC for so WHY does it still take ten years). I was a bit worried because while most of my specs meet or almost meet the recommended specs, my CPU is only the minimum.. which I know is fine, it is the minimum for a reason, but I was so scared it wouldn't work. But it did work and it looked incredible.

I’ve seen some valid critiques with the game. For instance, the lack of other body types & same sex marriage. That’s just my opinion… But I think complaints about the spec requirements are ridiculous. A lot of Simmers have to realize most modern video games require high demanding specs. Just look at new releases like Black Myth: Wukong. Every game company won’t have low spec requirements in order to garner more sales like The Sims 4. That’s just the reality.

@Ilivepuppys it depends on what type of copyright they have. Copyrights come with different stipulations depending on what that copyright is for. Honestly, I haven't researched it myself, so I don't know what the copyright terms were for the push pull system.
Patents are country-specific and it seems EA only patented for USA, so both inZOI and Paralives wouldn't be infringing it since they're not developed there. The patent is called "Modifying a simulated character by direct manipulation", in case you're interested in searching about it
@@HouseGecko yes the US is way too keen on software patents. It seems South Korea allows them too, so we're fortunate EA didn't file across multiple countries. On the positive side, patents do have a much shorter lifespan than copyright (I think 20 years in the US) and one related to the Sims 4 must already be halfway through that lifespan by this point. They are also very specific, so if you do the same thing in a different way, it may not be covered by the patent.

You can create 3 objects and cutscenes in game so I think you just make your CC in game. Also they have shops and open world. I am very excited. The poses in the creator is amazing. I am sad that the demo was so short! I could spend so much time in this. Can't wait for the launch!
They patented the drag/pull thing in the US specifically for lifesims, but seeing as InZoi isn't being made by an American company, they don't have to adhere to that.

as a fashion designer, the connection to CLO&MD is absolutely HUGE! im very excited to see how exactly it works out - i hope it means we literally can import our designs into inZOI! (CLO 3D is a fashion industy 3D program to create and "sew" clothes, used to digitalize the designs and styles, minimizing the need for samples, among other things)
I had a look but the ToS says that I am not allowed a judge or jury if they harm me. I have seen what Disney did with similar ToS, and frankly, I don't like that clause one bit.
This game is perfection. I didn't even know that something like this was even possible by today's technology. You seem so underwhelmed recording this. "Interesting" doesn't even begin to describe this game. I'd only use terms like "perfection" and above... FINALLY a good simulation game. I hope it sells like water! They deserve it.

As much as I love the fact that we have a competition for the sims, inZoi will be unplayable for a large part of the playerbase. It apparently requires 16 gb ram minimum but let's be honest here, it will be more closer to 32 if you don't want your pc to burn in ten minutes, not to even mention other system requirements😢
This character creator looks great, and I'm downloading it right now! Whether I play the game or not, I'll definitely use this for making original characters from my fictional stories. I've done them all in TheSims before, but this looks so much bettet and mote realistic.

Check your PC specs under settings -> system -> info. You’ll see if your CPU and RAM meet the requirements (At least Intel i5 10400 or AMD Ryzen 3600, 12GB RAM). You’ll see a device manager link on the right side. Check your GPU (NVIDIA RTX 2060 (8GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT). If your computer meets the specs, update your graphics drivers. If you don’t have the required hardware, your game won’t run, unfortunately. Good luck!

I think we have to give INZOI some grace and not be overly harsh. (I’m not saying Satch was harsh.) Although, it’s 2024 I take this as INZOI being more equivalent to the original Sims game. Obviously the graphics are better but everything won’t be perfect or perfectly implemented. Look at the Sims. They’re on their fourth iteration and look…where we still are. 😢😅❤

You can remove the butt chin but picking the color wheel when using skin presets. They have sliders for the chin, cheeks, jawline, eye bags, fine lines, etc.
I think they are gonna have custom cuz if they have MD and Clo that’s where most cc creators make their clothes already n if it’s linked i can 100% seeing them having a store connected straight to clo-connect removing having to do the blender option to transfer weights n stuff to match the games preprogrammed clothes

Generating patterns with AI is pretty inconsequential in the ethics department. It's probably going to use images from the open domain library of Congress than some artists rendition of cammo.
They prolly trained their own AI on their designs, I know this because if you type in Jacksepticeye a random guy pops up, as the AI was confused. so they prolly trained it themselves to avoid copyright.
Idk why everyone thinks INZOI is going to do anything to the sims. People don't realize the specs you need to run inzoi are insanely high. You have to have at least a GEFORCE RTX 2060 graphics card and THAT'S MINIMUM Most people don't have that (that play sims) This isn't even gonna put a dent in the sims when 50% of the population can't even open the game.
I have minimal requirements for Sims and no money for new computer, so I agree a lot of people without proper setup wouldn't for sure invest in new computer just for the sake of a game.Some will,some are gamers,creators with already proper specs, but I think it isn't the majority of the sims players.

Many Sims players would be down to pick one up on Black Friday for $300 just to play this, if they don’t own one already. I agree. It's also not going to be available for Macs. Even when it does come to console, who knows how well it will run, or if all features will be available. Plus I think that most Sims players are more casual and may not own (or want to own) a console. I feel that Paralives will be the one to give the Sims serious competition (and even so, no way is it going to kill the Sims franchise overnight). I'm not trying to defend the Sims or anything, just being realistic.

i could be misremembering but i think they said the zois you make, and i think if they're uploaded to canvas, are "owned" by them. which probably means they can use them as presets and to train a.i. but that'll mean people who do things like use their actual face to make the zoi will have it be used however inzoi sees fit
just dont upload your self zois, most people already dont as thats weird unless your a youtuber and then we could already use AI to learn from Snatches videos steal his voice and so on, so youbers have more to worry about mate
I love the feedback your giving and im sure the devs are watching all the content creators for patches and updates. im so happy to see layering like we had in sims 2. And i think presets on the stuff you talked about is a really good idea to help close the gap for dropping into the game for the first time. it looks really overwhelming ETA: I have some concerns about personal data, safety and security and I'm hopeful that there are some really strong measures in place to help prevent cyber attacks or the selling of our data. This also feels like it might be the precursor to the dystopia in Ready Player One. I'm not saying it's inherently bad, but that in the wrong hands could be not great.
I had the IBS belly, like severe, to the point it was painful. The only thing that completely got rid of it was eating a carnivore diet. I do also tolerate some sweeteners, especially allulose, so I can have a sweet dairy-based treat now and again, but mostly I just eat meat, fish, eggs, some cheese, and mostly only drink water. It's been three years now and no regrets.
I just want to make a few notes for others that see this comment, I had to go on some crazy digestive journeys for bery different digestive issues,and learned a lot. 1) The cronometer app is helpful when making major dietary switches, especially if you try any highly restrictive diet. It'll help you get enough of each micronutrient, most apps usually cover just macros like carbs and protoen. 2) Digestive enzymes and probiotics (usually a lot of strains is a good starting point) are options that help pinpoint digestive issues. But as with anything try not to over use them. (Eta: TUDCA is also helpful for a variety of issues, it's the bile acid. But bile farms harvest this, so I use a vegan (synthetic) variety, it's just easier to use than other bile acids with fewer symptoms, there's a lot of hype about it, but I can't confirm it). 3) watch your manufactured chemical intake where possible: PFAS apparently change your gut microbiome. And a lot of additives can cause digestive issues too. And conventional farms have been in an arms race with weeds and are using progressively more herbicides, I highly doubt those chemicals been properly tested at the levels we consume them. And things like eating organic & peeling can help, but you never get rid of it all. I buy greenhouse grown when possible, because they need less chemicals. Best wishes to all. Dietarily it's a crap shoot of ways tour gut can go wrong (pun intended).
@@steggopotamus Thanks for your comment. As to 2, and just for me personally (we're all different), digestive enzymes and probiotics were no help. In fact, I was still utilizing probiotics when I started carnivore. I still had one major issue that wasn't getting better at all. A month into carnivore I ditched the probiotics and the issue resolved in a week. But I know they are helpful for some. I definitely agree that nutrition is trial by fire, at least for some of us, because people can vary greatly in what way of eating works best for them. I'm personally kind of happy that it ended up being carnivore for me, because I find it to be so simple, so easy to eat a whole food diet (I hated chopping vegetables, prepping, measuring, etc ... now it's just throw some meat, fish, or eggs in a pan/slow cooker/air fryer and that's it), and just so easy for me to stick with in general. As to cronometer, it's not as helpful when you're carnivore. Meat actually has a small amount of vitamin C, but no nutritional label lists it. And of course the amount of vitamin C you need when you're eating pretty much zero carbs is far lower. Also, I find it confusing as far as calories and macros go, because I eat a lot of beef, and it's never clear if the calories and macros are raw or cooked, or if they account for any fat lost (like in ground beef). I was using it heavily when I was trying regular keto, but I ended up ditching it when I went carnivore. Although I find it interesting that when I was eating lots of vegetables I was suffering from a few deficiencies, as if my body couldn't utilize the nutrients in plants, but I've been carnivore for three years and I now only have to supplement with potassium, although less potassium than I had to supplement when I was eating plenty of whole food plants. So I don't really need something like cronometer as long as I'm eating fresh, whole foods carnivore. Which I'm grateful for, because tracking can be very annoying and tedious. I hated it. Yeah, unfortunately PFAS are impossible to avoid completely. I don't eat organic meat, but I feel like I still get less eating fresh meat, fish, and eggs, than I was getting when I would eat packaged or pre-prepared food. Microplastics are another concern. I've been working on changing out plastic utensils for silicone, and plastic containers for glass ones. But slowly, so I don't overwhelm myself or my pocketbook.

And I usually suggest it because it's the best way to get people researching and keeping an eye out for deficiencies. There's too many freaking options for diets for me to advise on everything. But I can at least suggest something that can guide people. Best.

It was as if my body just couldn't utilize the nutrients they had. I've been carnivore for three years and I now only suffer from a potassium deficiency, which has been an ongoing issue since at least 2012. But I am taking less potassium on carnivore than I was previously, so even that has improved.

The asymmetrical feature is wicked. Elden Ring was the first game I’d ever played that had that feature, and giving my character my lazy eye was wild and pretty cool.

The "customize outift" thing is a tool to CREATE new outifts, it doesn't change the pre-made tops/bottoms your zoi is wearing. So you basically create your top/bottom style and import a mesh on it, change colors etc. I found it a little confusing at first but it's a great tool, I really hope they expand it more!

Don't get me wrong, the grafics are gorgeous, but seeing hyper realistic people with slightly cartoony movements and reactions sometimes ends up giving strange vibes (to me atleast). I notice this especially with the clapping animation.

The filters are not just for photo mode, they work in game at all times! So if you want a more cartoon look, just leave the cartoon filter on. I think that's why there's not thaaat many of them.

iirc there's no sure-fire android alternative for such a feature, so it's been iOS-only for such things for years. So at least for a beta game, it using Apple's facial capture makes sense to be sure it can actually function.

the chin cleft you had as well as even more details like eye bags, cheeks, jawline and more are under skin details. I guess they need to make it more easily accessible so people notice it or don't skip over it

I'm so happy we finally have masculine clothing in a life sim game. (nothing against fem-boys, but if I want a masculine character, I want a masculine one). And the game looks really beautiful, I've tested it already (the character creator of course). Can't wait for the game!. Graphics are beautiful and it's exactly what I like. I don't like cartoony graphics, looks too childish.
Whenever I create a sim I have to make it look as realistic as possible(Alpha or whatever its called CC is superior) cuz I hate the cartoonish look..
I'm also happy there's actual masculine clothing.. This is against EA not lgbtq+ but they focus way too heavily on "inclusivity" and gets rid of the in qoutes "traditional" masculinity..

I swear I didn't open the game since BG update + LEP so I don't know how did they write "partner" in my native language (Portuguese), because in Portuguese there's no "neutral". they are going to have different game filters on launch that offer a more cartoonish visual experience so that might help the game feel less hyper realistic:))
There's two of us. I'm more of a Maxis Match kind of chap, but I have heard there's a filter you can apply, that will make the zoi's a but more cartoony.
There's going to be filters to change the look of the game. So if you want the cartoony look, they will have it. I even saw a filter for black and white. The different filters will not only make the game unique but the storytelling will be different for everyone. Pixelade had early access and showed the cartoon filter and it looked good and I know alot of people will be using that filter because it looks like the Sims/Paralives.

Family name being first is a cultural thing. When being introduced to other cultures, it helps to know this because you may refer to someone by their family name instead of their given name by accident. I also try to avoid using the terms last name and first name because they are ambiguous unless you know the custom of the culture you're referencing. It's really hard when UI designers use these terms.

Yes, yes they are average specs. And the game literally loaded more quickly than TS4 for me (which I just got rid of all my CC for so WHY does it still take ten years). I was a bit worried because while most of my specs meet or almost meet the recommended specs, my CPU is only the minimum.. which I know is fine, it is the minimum for a reason, but I was so scared it wouldn't work. But it did work and it looked incredible.
I have an AMD 6000 series card. I can't use the AI feature. LOL I have a decent card.

But I think complaints about the spec requirements are ridiculous. A lot of Simmers have to realize most modern video games require high demanding specs. Just look at new releases like Black Myth: Wukong. Every game company won’t have low spec requirements in order to garner more sales like The Sims 4. That’s just the reality.

The Sims copyright of the dragging feature did not cover new technology, I think (if memory serves) it was based on their current engine.
I heard it also had to due with the copyright not being valid in Korea

@Ilivepuppys it depends on what type of copyright they have. Copyrights come with different stipulations depending on what that copyright is for. Honestly, I haven't researched it myself, so I don't know what the copyright terms were for the push pull system.
Patents are country-specific and it seems EA only patented for USA, so both inZOI and Paralives wouldn't be infringing it since they're not developed there. The patent is called "Modifying a simulated character by direct manipulation", in case you're interested in searching about it
@@HouseGecko yes the US is way too keen on software patents. It seems South Korea allows them too, so we're fortunate EA didn't file across multiple countries. On the positive side, patents do have a much shorter lifespan than copyright (I think 20 years in the US) and one related to the Sims 4 must already be halfway through that lifespan by this point. They are also very specific, so if you do the same thing in a different way, it may not be covered by the patent.

2:35 I don't know if it's legal to copyright game mechanics that aren't extremely unique. Even if EA did, these mechanics are very different.
They patented the drag/pull thing in the US specifically for lifesims, but seeing as InZoi isn't being made by an American company, they don't have to adhere to that.

as a fashion designer, the connection to CLO&MD is absolutely HUGE! im very excited to see how exactly it works out - i hope it means we literally can import our designs into inZOI! (CLO 3D is a fashion industy 3D program to create and "sew" clothes, used to digitalize the designs and styles, minimizing the need for samples, among other things)

As much as I love the fact that we have a competition for the sims, inZoi will be unplayable for a large part of the playerbase. It apparently requires 16 gb ram minimum but let's be honest here, it will be more closer to 32 if you don't want your pc to burn in ten minutes, not to even mention other system requirements😢
This character creator looks great, and I'm downloading it right now! Whether I play the game or not, I'll definitely use this for making original characters from my fictional stories. I've done them all in TheSims before, but this looks so much bettet and mote realistic.

Check your PC specs under settings -> system -> info.
You’ll see if your CPU and RAM meet the requirements (At least Intel i5 10400 or AMD Ryzen 3600, 12GB RAM). You’ll see a device manager link on the right side. Check your GPU (NVIDIA RTX 2060 (8GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT). If your computer meets the specs, update your graphics drivers.
If you don’t have the required hardware, your game won’t run, unfortunately. Good luck!

I think we have to give INZOI some grace and not be overly harsh. (I’m not saying Satch was harsh.) Although, it’s 2024 I take this as INZOI being more equivalent to the original Sims game. Obviously the graphics are better but everything won’t be perfect or perfectly implemented. Look at the Sims. They’re on their fourth iteration and look…where we still are. 😢😅❤

You can remove the butt chin but picking the color wheel when using skin presets. They have sliders for the chin, cheeks, jawline, eye bags, fine lines, etc.
I think they are gonna have custom cuz if they have MD and Clo that’s where most cc creators make their clothes already n if it’s linked i can 100% seeing them having a store connected straight to clo-connect removing having to do the blender option to transfer weights n stuff to match the games preprogrammed clothes

Generating patterns with AI is pretty inconsequential in the ethics department. It's probably going to use images from the open domain library of Congress than some artists rendition of cammo.
They prolly trained their own AI on their designs, I know this because if you type in Jacksepticeye a random guy pops up, as the AI was confused. so they prolly trained it themselves to avoid copyright.

Idk why everyone thinks INZOI is going to do anything to the sims. People don't realize the specs you need to run inzoi are insanely high. You have to have at least a GEFORCE RTX 2060 graphics card and THAT'S MINIMUM

This isn't even gonna put a dent in the sims when 50% of the population can't even open the game.
I have minimal requirements for Sims and no money for new computer, so I agree a lot of people without proper setup wouldn't for sure invest in new computer just for the sake of a game.Some will,some are gamers,creators with already proper specs, but I think it isn't the majority of the sims players.

Many Sims players would be down to pick one up on Black Friday for $300 just to play this, if they don’t own one already. I agree. It's also not going to be available for Macs. Even when it does come to console, who knows how well it will run, or if all features will be available. Plus I think that most Sims players are more casual and may not own (or want to own) a console.
I feel that Paralives will be the one to give the Sims serious competition (and even so, no way is it going to kill the Sims franchise overnight). I'm not trying to defend the Sims or anything, just being realistic.

i could be misremembering but i think they said the zois you make, and i think if they're uploaded to canvas, are "owned" by them. which probably means they can use them as presets and to train a.i.
but that'll mean people who do things like use their actual face to make the zoi will have it be used however inzoi sees fit

I love the feedback your giving and im sure the devs are watching all the content creators for patches and updates. im so happy to see layering like we had in sims 2. And i think presets on the stuff you talked about is a really good idea to help close the gap for dropping into the game for the first time. it looks really overwhelming
ETA: I have some concerns about personal data, safety and security and I'm hopeful that there are some really strong measures in place to help prevent cyber attacks or the selling of our data. This also feels like it might be the precursor to the dystopia in Ready Player One. I'm not saying it's inherently bad, but that in the wrong hands could be not great.
I had the IBS belly, like severe, to the point it was painful. The only thing that completely got rid of it was eating a carnivore diet. I do also tolerate some sweeteners, especially allulose, so I can have a sweet dairy-based treat now and again, but mostly I just eat meat, fish, eggs, some cheese, and mostly only drink water. It's been three years now and no regrets.
I just want to make a few notes for others that see this comment, I had to go on some crazy digestive journeys for bery different digestive issues,and learned a lot.
1) The cronometer app is helpful when making major dietary switches, especially if you try any highly restrictive diet. It'll help you get enough of each micronutrient, most apps usually cover just macros like carbs and protoen.
2) Digestive enzymes and probiotics (usually a lot of strains is a good starting point) are options that help pinpoint digestive issues. But as with anything try not to over use them.
(Eta: TUDCA is also helpful for a variety of issues, it's the bile acid. But bile farms harvest this, so I use a vegan (synthetic) variety, it's just easier to use than other bile acids with fewer symptoms, there's a lot of hype about it, but I can't confirm it).
3) watch your manufactured chemical intake where possible: PFAS apparently change your gut microbiome. And a lot of additives can cause digestive issues too. And conventional farms have been in an arms race with weeds and are using progressively more herbicides, I highly doubt those chemicals been properly tested at the levels we consume them. And things like eating organic & peeling can help, but you never get rid of it all. I buy greenhouse grown when possible, because they need less chemicals.

@@steggopotamus Thanks for your comment. As to 2, and just for me personally (we're all different), digestive enzymes and probiotics were no help. In fact, I was still utilizing probiotics when I started carnivore. I still had one major issue that wasn't getting better at all. A month into carnivore I ditched the probiotics and the issue resolved in a week. But I know they are helpful for some.
I definitely agree that nutrition is trial by fire, at least for some of us, because people can vary greatly in what way of eating works best for them. I'm personally kind of happy that it ended up being carnivore for me, because I find it to be so simple, so easy to eat a whole food diet (I hated chopping vegetables, prepping, measuring, etc ... now it's just throw some meat, fish, or eggs in a pan/slow cooker/air fryer and that's it), and just so easy for me to stick with in general.
As to cronometer, it's not as helpful when you're carnivore. Meat actually has a small amount of vitamin C, but no nutritional label lists it. And of course the amount of vitamin C you need when you're eating pretty much zero carbs is far lower. Also, I find it confusing as far as calories and macros go, because I eat a lot of beef, and it's never clear if the calories and macros are raw or cooked, or if they account for any fat lost (like in ground beef). I was using it heavily when I was trying regular keto, but I ended up ditching it when I went carnivore. Although I find it interesting that when I was eating lots of vegetables I was suffering from a few deficiencies, as if my body couldn't utilize the nutrients in plants, but I've been carnivore for three years and I now only have to supplement with potassium, although less potassium than I had to supplement when I was eating plenty of whole food plants. So I don't really need something like cronometer as long as I'm eating fresh, whole foods carnivore. Which I'm grateful for, because tracking can be very annoying and tedious. I hated it.
Yeah, unfortunately PFAS are impossible to avoid completely. I don't eat organic meat, but I feel like I still get less eating fresh meat, fish, and eggs, than I was getting when I would eat packaged or pre-prepared food. Microplastics are another concern. I've been working on changing out plastic utensils for silicone, and plastic containers for glass ones. But slowly, so I don't overwhelm myself or my pocketbook.
@@HappilyCarnivore nutrition is never exact, but cronometer has helped a lot of people a ton. And I usually suggest it because it's the best way to get people researching and keeping an eye out for deficiencies. There's too many freaking options for diets for me to advise on everything. But I can at least suggest something that can guide people. Best.
@@steggopotamus It's weird, because I was struggling with deficiencies when I was eating a diet heavy in vegetables, grains, and legumes. It was as if my body just couldn't utilize the nutrients they had. I've been carnivore for three years and I now only suffer from a potassium deficiency, which has been an ongoing issue since at least 2012. But I am taking less potassium on carnivore than I was previously, so even that has improved.
