I don't like wooden bridges over water or a ravine. It totally freaks me out. I love it when you visit rock shops. I love seeing all the rocks. I would go nuts in a place like that. Absolutely love your camping vlogs.

I feel you, Jess, about the water. It's strange, but I never minded taking the bridge over to Michigan to my grandparents, but when we took the tunnel, I would be so stressed out. I always felt like I could make it if we fell in, but not if the tunnel crashed on top of us.

Your scary drive is a dike. We have them in upstate NY. They either form or are built up between two bodies of water. I've driven on one without pavement....that was scary!
So where does dad get to sleep when the girls/kids are hogging the bed ?? Jessica if you'd fallen (before you knew your dad was with you) i think the girls will have some how let dad know you was in trouble.

Most likely you did find copper Michigan has many copper mines First Nations have found it for hundreds of years
i hate driving over or really close to water myself. if someone is going to put a boat in the water in the vehicle I am in I have to get out before hand
