I just come back and listen to this once in a while to sit in admiration... Young people if you want to play guitar... If you can do half this you really are on your way
Magnificent ! Bravo ! (Bob Dylan played his version ,at a concert, here,(Australia) I mistakenly told my friends that he;d done it,' Memphis Minnie style'.) Regards.
Great work! I play it a bit different, as I taught it myself after watching another guy doing a cover...so it was kind of copy from a copy ;) Anyway, nice to see that Memphis Minnie is still relevant to musicians!
I pity anyone who can't appreciate what Daddystovepipe did here. That was magnifique'! As smooth as a banana daiquiri and twice as tasty. Love this, sir. Just love it. Do you have a lesson available for this.? I would sincerely like to learn how to play this!
Oops! I was too besot by the music to notice otherwise obvious stuff! Sorry about that. Thanks for redirecting me. Gonna get right on this. Maybe I'll end the summer with a new tune! Then spend the next lifetime trying to get it this smooth.
Ha ha, thanks but I think Willie without 'Trigger' wouldn't be Willie anymore. I bought this guitar on Ebay from an antiques dealer who probably got hold of it through some house cleaning of a deceased person. The guitar must have been played alot as the traces under my picking hand indicate, pity it can't speak.
This fellow is a real deal... He needs to be mainstream radio.
Who the hell unliked this....as shoes. .AMAZING

Great, as always.... And I see you've gone black & white too? The only colour I need is the Blues I hear!
is that Willie Nelson's Guitare? please tell me it is, because you're the only person that thruly deserves to have it

@@daddystovepipe I love it!
Full chops.
Damn there should be a law against those fingers...speeding or something
That guitar sounds amazing! If you ever feel like selling it please let me know! :) Has a nice little growl like an old Gibson. What is it?
It's a Supertone from around 1927, known as the "Lindbergh" model. Ladder braced, hence the growl. It's a keeper.
@@daddystovepipe Thanks! So begins "the hunt."
Good luck, I bought mine on Ebay a long time ago.
Can this guy play dem blueez or what......
hellhounds
LOL That is just sick.
As good as John Hurt, Doc Watson and Rory Gallagher.
Hmmm, looks like a certain Minnie ripped off Led Zeplin, shame on her.
I guess you are kidding, since she released it 1929.
PBH74 lol
Good stuff
