Well, I went on a family vacation in 2018 during Christmas time ( big mistake) ha. For an expat, I think it really depends on the kind of job he or she is doing. It is definitely expensive eating outside as Mike mentions, Taxi rides are also very expensive. Preparing your own food and taking public transport is musch less easier on the pocket.
I beleive it makes a lot of sense stay in an apartment -- Not necessarily a high rent apartment, if you're on vacation or if you are settling down.
JBR is situated quite close to Dubai Marina -- which is an amazing Vicinity, lots of things to do, it's Bustling all the time especially in the Evenings; I really enjoyed my time in Dubai Marina.
If you can afford it, there's not a place like Dubai.

Tap water is fine, as in it won't make you ill but the treatment leaves it mineral heavy and there can be complications with kidney stones and the like. But it's fundamentally clean and safe to use.

Hi Mike! New to your channel so you may have explained this before in a previous vid, but why avoid actual milk in favour of nut milks? From everything I've read actual milk is one of the most anabolic foods and was a staple of old bodybuilder diets (not to mention its full of vitamins and minerals too). Is there a reason why milk should be avoided on a diet where you want to gain muscle and ultimately lose fat?
this is a good video to help cope when on business travel too! Calories can get out of hand super fast if you’re not smart about it. I always travel w protein powder (usually skipping breakfast at the hotel) & then mind my carbs mainly since eating out generally when on travel.

Great vid mike. I’d highly recommend taking vitamin K2 mk7 if you are supplementing with such high a high dose of D3. Otherwise you run the risk of calcium build up in the arteries 👍🏼

You can do an online food shop through Kibsons and they will deliver it to your house. There is also Hello Chef which provide you with recipes and all the ingredients (literally the exact same as Hello Fresh in the UK).

Dont drink the tap water mate!! You can get the water dispensers in your home (like they have in offices) and they replace the empty bottles for new ones - you just leave them outside of your apartment door. And it is pronounced Carry-four.
