Join Helen Tworkov, co-author of Mingyur Rinpoche’s books, for this 60-minute conversation with Tergar International founder Cortland Dahl.
A self-described “lost child” of the 1950s New York art world, Helen will share her transformational journey to Japan and Nepal where, in 1965, she volunteered at a Tibetan Refugee camp, her return to the United States, and the counterculture protests sparked by the Vietnam War. Following this, we learn of her meetings with leading Buddhist teachers and her founding of Tricycle: The Buddhist Review, the first independent newsstand Buddhist magazine in the United States.
