Unfortunately, that's a fake Buddha quote. He never said that. Not sure why people don't do a shred more research before plastering fake Buddha quotes all over the place. "To understand everything is to forgive everything" is another fake Buddha quote. He never "beautifully articulated" that considering he never said it. It's a good message though. ✌️

You can’t deny emotions. To kid yourself that you can act as if you don’t feel anything causes repression and false expectations. One has to sit and breathe and look at the trigger to become consciously aware, and own self as the cause- which isn’t easy if one is abused or wronged in some way. Most of us have an inner journey to arrive at a neutral observation of self or circumstance and to be able to take it in stride with comprehension.

I have to, feel compelled to share my experience . When something bothers me, is very short lived because, it only remains in my mind for the exact time that this event reveals itself with absolute clarity. Once the origin, intention and validity of that which bothers me is proven through sheer observation. I move away and it no longer affects me since, is not around me or coming into conflict with my idea of self. My integrity peace, prosperity and joy depend of no such things that are external to my control
