Do you know where he lost time though? Because if it's to add some time to another sector (i.e. a turn before a straight) then he may not be able to do better.

@@m00555 well I'm not Jarno so I'll leave that up to the experts, but what I'm saying is that red in general doesn't necessarily mean it can be improved. I could do a full on gas, no braking sector and crash right after it. It would record as my fastest sector but it wouldn't be the best way to do it to get the best lap time

The swimming pool section was just out of this world. Seemless change of direction at the exit. Best part of the lap. The S2 was not purple just shows that lap could have been even faster. Insanely freakish.

He has some amazing skills. I tried his hotlap setup but it was really hard to drive because the rear wants to step out when turning.
That’s pretty much how the fastest players set up the cars. I also find them almost uncontrollable.
1 tip that I can give is to reduce the rear roll bar in order make the car less oversteer. I usually set it to 7 or 8
@@Route765 it requires a certain technique that involves steering and throttle input. I make my setups like this too and it makes you really fast if you're able to control it. Just keep trying!
I've used his setups and not found them too bad compared to other esports drivers I've tried. The only other one that haven't made me spin constantly were James Baldwin setups.
@@Route765 it also has to do with the fact has he uses 300 degrees of steering instead of 360 it's part of his driving style. I absolutely can't drive with 300 😂

If those "simracers" are so fast, why dont they race in real life? Current lap record is set by Lewis Hamiltion which is 1'10.166 . Does it mean that simracers are 3 seconds better than real pro drivers? Don't think so. Setting a "record" in a video game will never be the same as setting the record in real life
When you cut corners like that you gain seconds
You do realize this game is not a sim right...? Ever heard of James Baldwin? He is currently a GT3 driver who started in actual sim racing with Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione (real sims) and became a GT3 driver. So yes it is possible for sim racers to be fast in real life.

It is impossible to cut real life kerbs like this. If it was a real life lap he would lose control at nouvelle at best and definitely smack the wall at swimming pool exit.

INGREDIENTS
For the dough:
300g plain flour
65g unsalted butter
7g fast-action dried yeast
½ tsp ground cinnamon
65g caster sugar
65ml warm water
1 large egg
pinch of salt
For the caramel:
200g light brown soft sugar
100g unsalted butter
1 tsp ground cinnamon
5 tbsp golden syrup
1 tbsp vanilla extract
EQUIPMENT
You will also need:
waffle machine, top and bottom plates greased with a little oil
10cm round metal cutter
Step 1
For the dough, rub the flour and butter together in a large bowl until it resembles breadcrumbs. Add the yeast, cinnamon and sugar and mix together.
Step 2
Slowly pour in the warm water until the dough starts coming together, then add the egg. Finally add the salt and knead the dough for 1-2 minutes into a soft ball. Cover and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
Step 3
For the caramel, melt the sugar and the butter, stirring slowly over a low heat, until the sugar has dissolved. Add the cinnamon and golden syrup and continue stirring until the caramel gently bubbles. When the caramel is creamy and all the sugar has melted, stir in the vanilla extract. Keep warm.
Step 4
Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll into small balls and cover with a damp cloth to prevent them drying out.
Step 5
Heat the greased waffle cone machine. Place 1 dough ball in the middle, press down the top lid and bake for 1-2 minutes until dark golden and puffed up. Remove from the machine and place on a chopping board.
Step 6
Working quickly, while the waffle is still hot, cut the waffle into a circle using the 10cm round metal cutter, then slice it horizontally in half.
Step 7
Place a generous tablespoon of caramel on the bottom waffle half. Top with the other waffle half and gently push down, until the caramel spreads to the edges. Place on a wire rack to cool, then repeat until you have used up all the dough balls.
Step 8
Throw them in the bin
