@@scswp6945 she always talks about how she fought with the conductor about keys. He was adamant she sang the first version in Georgia Brown’s (low) key but maybe she won the war for the reprise and as a compromise he let her do it in this key 😂
It's horrible. She's screaming. And she has absolutely no idea how to phrase lyrics and pronounce words in a clear but natural way, which one would expect from a 'Julliard' actor.
This was a Cam Mac production. You can see, when casting began for Les Mis, he wen't 'Oh my... I know exactly where we find an emotionally earth shattering actress who can retain a high belt for Fantine....' And so it was.
