    OLD BUSINESS
    1. Mayoral Veto of Ordinance 24-2024, rezoning of 4 lots located on the south side of Carter Hill Road, between West Haven Lane and Sanford Street, from an O-1 to an R-60-m. Reasons: (1) This project does not align with the COM’s approach in regards to zoning code and development. (2) Many homeowners adjacent to the housing development do not support a multiple family complex infilling amongst single family homes. (3) The project will also increase traffic and require substantial infrastructure improvements the City is not positioned to fund and execute.
    2. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning one lot located on the southeast corner of Mooreland Road and Edgar D. Nixon Avenue (aka 367 Mooreland Road) from an R-65-m (Multi-Family Residential) Zoning District to a B-2 (Commercial) Zoning District. Planning Commission made No Recommendation. Motion was made to rezone to B-2-Q, restricted to a car lot only and to use an E.D. Nixon Avenue address instead of Mooreland Road. Motion failed with a 4-1 vote (4 members absent). No Action was Taken. ((RZ-2022-010) (7)
