  • NFL fans now need seven streaming services to watch all of next season’s games, including Netflix, which is entering the sports rights stratosphere. The NFL has gift-wrapped a doubleheader of games to the streaming giant for Christmas Day in a new three-year deal. That means Americans will need a Netflix subscription to watch football while opening presents under the tree.

Good. Maybe people will realize that sports are not worth all the attention it receives. And there is all the money teams want cities to spend for stadiums, arenas, rinks, courts, fields and jerseys.
