It's crazy how many people are defending the cop for gunning that man down in his own home. It was straight up murder.
Do you mean the cop has to wait until the other guy shoots the cop? Don't just blame cops. Everybody has a value in his/her life. If the opponent has a gun on hand, no one waits. It is an accident.

Straight murder? Why would anyone answer a door to police with a pistol in their hand?
The murder of that U.S. Airmen is outrageous! My heart breaks for the family. I pray they receive justice. Our police must do better! Stop hiring and giving these trigger happy, emotionaly reactive, and psychologicaly immature folks a badge, gun, and duty to protect and serve the communty. How bout we raise the standards for critical incident response and use of force training - and mandate rigorous psychological evaluation and clearance before awarding police academy certification. Moreover, there has to be actual accountability when these cops are out here literally taking lives. Countless people are dying as a direct result of these clearly unqualified cops. Dying by "accident" at the hands of police should not be happening - and should be universally unacceptable, in 2024, in America. It has to stop!

Very sad, this young man lost his life in a few seconds. People have been asking authorities to help stop this useless killing of blackmen. As usual, it falls on deaf ears. Not all cops are bad , but there are a good number of cops that are trigger happy, looking for someone to transfer all their frustration and misery upon. All we can do is teach our kids to be careful during police encounters. Blackmen are viewed as violent criminals by some cops. It's rather unfortunate, but it's the truth.

Compared to the other trials, this one is the least important and impactful. So it's pretty bogus. Doubtful he will get locked up over it, let alone for very long if he does. He may be reelected before the truth comes out with the other trials and, by then, he may pardon himself and prevent them altogether.

From the video shown of that young black brother being brutally murdered by that police officer that police officer was clearly in the wrong and needs to be fired and then brought up on charges and and face at least 30 years in prison because if he was in the United States Air Force then he had a right to carry that gun on his side and if they don't charge whomever the police officer who shot him 6 times then his boss should be fired and brought up on charges and go to jail for the next 30 years.

Reminder to NOT open your door for police unless you called them.
There's no law that says you have to unless they are serving a warrant.

The planting of mini forests is a great idea to bring back insects and wildlife, but the streetlights are running off the nocturnal insects and animals. There are just as many flowers and plants that bloom and pollinate at night as in the daytime, but inner-city plants aren't growing anymore because the lights prevent insects from pollinating the plants. Cities are putting in low-light streetlights and it is working. Anything we can do to help Earth heal is wonderful. Thank You 😊
New developments do have strict regulations on light pollution at least in the USA. And, redevelopments too. If a location is putting out too much light, encourage them to get different light poles & fixtures. Encourage your local jurisdictions to improve building codes regarding exterior lighting.

The gunning down of the Air Force Officer is so sad. It seems the deputy was scared before his feet went up to that door. His whole actions spoke to someone who was scared. Sir, your job calls for bravery coupled with tactical moves. The way he presented himself self at that door caused him to shoot the innocent law-abiding man. His presentation of himself at the door should be investigated. Condolences to the family and friends of the Air Force Officer. Such a very, very sad story. May his soul rest in PIP.

Cities all over the US should plant fruit trees in every street where this is a space for a tree. Residents should be asked to water those trees every day. If all cities had fruit trees growing every where, would help provide fruit for those living there. Oranges, apples and cherries, would be great.

Without pesticides, which are sprayed, fruit such as apples will have worms when harvested. Difficult to spray pesticides in cities.
Because if you've ever had one, they require great care. Some seasons the fruit is inedible. There is usually a small window of weeks when fruit can be picked. Many will fall to the ground and attract tons of pests, particularly stinging insects. It's not as convenient as it sounds
Seems really silly when they're tearing down deciduous forest next to my national forest to plant grass and houses. Grass and earthworms alone are destroyed our forests.
There are tons of citrus trees here in LA. You can walk down the sidewalk and pick all the fruit you want in some places. Most of it just rots.

If cops think they are justified in gunning down a man inside his own home for exercising his 2nd amendment right (holding a pistol in a nonthreatening manner while trying to determine who is actually yelling and pounding on his door), these same cops are suggesting that everyone has the right to gun any cop down, simply for seeing them openly armed.
