We're using Sygic with our RV. Tested all other solutions, but Sygic was the most reliable and also the fastest in calculating the route. The Interface could be somewhat better though, like the possibility to change colors of the map. But all in all it's still the best solutions. It's a pity that no-one talks about it, when it's about Satnavs for RVs, everyone's talking about Garmin and TomTom, and those both never fulfilled our needs, and they were slooooow, at last the dedicated PNAs.
I’ve used Carmin for years and still use it if I I forget my telephone and have a lifetime updates. However, I decided to buy Sygic six or seven years ago as a backup navigator. To my surprise, I found Sygic much better in nearly all aspects. During My last vacation in Italy this year I used only Sygic. The alarms regarding speed cameras saved me a lot of bother (and money) while Garmin gave no alerts most of the time😡. Four years ago Sygic saved the day in Toronto/Canada when Garmin kept sending me up and down the same road four times on my way to the airport. Sygic on the other hand found the right direction immediately once I started it. I would not hesitate in recommending Sygic to anyone.

Wieszam na szybie i o niczym nie myślę, nic nie paruję, po prostu działa. Układ ekranu nie męczy oczu, szczegółami nie jest przeładowane. Nie przegrzewa się, bateria nie pada. Sprawdzona w PL, DE, FR i IT. Wszędzie działa jak trzeba, nie myli, nie kombinuje, proponuje objazdy korków idealnie, wytycza z pominięciem autostrad idealnie. Korki pokazuje prawidłowo.
I have or have owned Garmin, Magellan, TomTom and Sygic. You can’t beat the features on the dedicated hardware devices. Period. However I really like Sygic for world travel since it has free maps of almost the entire planet. It also runs on your phone so easy to travel with. And best of all it does not require any real time data. Works offline so even easier to travel with.
There is no perfect navigation, each has some shortcomings, but after testing a dozen SatNav's or so I chose Sygic! It is the best and I have two licenses now: for a car and Sygic Truck separately.

On the full premium version of Sygic, you can see absolutely gorgeous views of the skies, 3D mountains, and meticulously-crafted 3D buildings. Those fools need to be ignored, because, nothing ever satisfies those people anyways. I actually went through a TON of work this past week, strictly so I could enjoy looking at Sygic. I ordered the latest Android 7-inch Stereo for my car by a company named Joying. It has 64GB of internal storage, 4GB of DDR4 RAM, an Octo-Core CPU, and built-in 4G LTE with a genuine high-resolution glass screen. I custom-installed the Sygic app in it, and I have never been more astonished in my entire life!! I took some drop-dead-gorgeous screenshots of many brilliant views!!
I'm using in this test 6" screen phone for Sygic navigation. Garmin 6.95" screen. Most popular phones now are 4.5 - 5" screen so everything will be smaller.
I have a 4 year old Garmin, still works, ONLY when plugged into the power socket. Occasionally it would freeze up, and the only way to get it going again is to pull it out of the socket, wait for it to die and then restart by plugging it back into the socket. With my Sygic GPS Navigation, I have it on my phone, with a world maps edition I can download local maps and use it overseas. But I don't think I can use it on my car's Android Auto ready infotainment system. But I don't like the look of themap in the in-built car navigation system.
You are the only person to show the actual display on the road. Everyone else shows all the junk add ons. It's the rolling display we need, and you nailed, it. Mind you, the Sygic truck I tried didn't look quite like your interface (pity you didn't do both landscape, because now it's not like-for-like.) Sygic truck worked well but is expensiver - I tried Sygic Car and it is TOTAL rubbish! When it worked at all, tried keep directing me to B'ham City Centre; had to re-set for Google Maps / Driving while at least is reliable. But with an 8 foot wide PSV vehicle, I really need a Truck or Coach/Bus set-up for the long term.
I purchased Sygic only to find it's using Tom Tom mapping. Some streets in my neighbourhood were planned but were never created, so when navigating, the instructions wanted to take roads that don't exist! Even after further updates, the issue still exists, even after reporting the problem numerous times to Sygic. I wasted my money!
After using Tom Tom and some other ones, I have Sygic and I like it more than any other. Garmin is excellent in Slovenia, for some reason, Sygic is doing fine there
used sygic app on old 7" samsung galaxy tab 3 but it does not work well and slow to find gps position so had to switch to a 5" old Wayteq sat nav with igo primo ..and i have a cheap 7" wince sat nav nozatec which is rock solid, i like the screen with the garmin but more money of course!
Hi everyone i have sygic from 2015 and now is 2019 December i can say this gps is brilliant because i use for long period i travel from uk to Europe Romania so never let me down is good gps one draw back is you don't receive traffic faster but if you have internet i going 100% the best sygic maps
Garmin nuvi works just fine with no wifi or subscriptions to anything. Update when prompted via home computer and go like a boss! Voice actived ones are especially nice!

In the mobile phone settings, you must allow the ability to adjust the screen content to the mobile phone's orientation. But even in setting up the sygic itself you have to allow the software to use automatic rotation as it is set in the mobile phone. In the Sygic settings, select "maps" and select that Sygic use the orientation set in the mobile phone.
At 3:27 in the video, did the white van undertake you? Isn't it an illegal move. Sorry, a bit off the topic, but I'm new to driving so it caught my eye.
You need built GPS but don't need 3G/4G as the maps are downloaded on your mobile. However, the connection can give you traffic information. The advantage of sygic is to be an offline GPS.
Ive used Garmin for decades (in EU TomTom). Few months ago I tried a few other types. Wow, I was spoiled and assumed they would be as good or better than Garmin. I returned and got Garmins. I wonder what the VERY expensive cars use?

@truck driver Sygic licence is one purchase for all time, as long as you stay on the same system. You can’t transfer your licence between iOS and Android or vice versa.
@@lit.truckerinuk657 i have sygic truck. I recommend it. It helps me a lot because it keeps me most of the time on main roads according to the size of the truck and knows all the bridges, witch can be a serious problem if you drive in uk.
ThisNoName With Garmin if you overspending left down corner getting red. When you are close to speed camera then you have Big red warning on the top of the screen.
the plastic mounting clip that fits in back of garmin drivesmart 61 51 nuvi & is crap they break frequently, not what you expect from a unit costing £200 or more the garmin genuine part is a piss take at £8:00 as it's no better than cheaper ones on e- bay it should be made of alloy not cheap poxy plastic.
not just the lane guidance is wrong, there should have 4 lanes approaching the roundabout from A12 but Sygic only showing 3. while the 3rd and 4th lane have marked sign directing drivers to go toward M25(N).
I have Sygic and also Garmin but i always use Garmin because Garmin is more clear and easy to find.Sygic always brings longer routes but Sygic gives more information Drivings times about upcoming speed limit according to me Garmin is the winner 🥇🏆
I have similar issue but with Tomtom. Tomtom gives me much better and more timely routes. On the other hand, Sygic is convenient for shorter routes and is great back up

Sygic needs internet connections for information about trafic etc. Gaemin use TMC and if it's connected to network via your phone. It use internet connection.

Shit, don’t buy I was a premium Sygic user, it’s ok for a few months and stops working. Support are useless and always blame your device. That’s their go to default reply. Don’t bother asking for a refund as your then ignored no matter how many emails you send. Stay away!!!!

The good thing about Sygic GPS can provide the building on the street you are driving on, I have never seen any other GPS has it.

which one is best right now ? sygic worse or best ? i think not work very well or perfect, always gives wrong command.

You can force power off or restart the Garmin by pressing and holding the power button until it turns off or restarts.
Sygic states a "turn" command when a corner is ahead, this can be very confusing and make you take wrong course!!! Can it be changed?

Line assistant in Sygic need more improvements, but every SatNav has mistakes and none of them slows down from thinking.

I have Sygic and also Garmin but i always use Garmin because Garmin is more clear and easy to find.Sygic always brings longer routes but Sygic gives more information Drivings times about upcoming speed limit according to me Garmin is the winner 🥇🏆

I have similar issue but with Tomtom. Tomtom gives me much better and more timely routes. On the other hand, Sygic is convenient for shorter routes and is great back up

Sygic needs internet connections for information about trafic etc. Gaemin use TMC and if it's connected to network via your phone. It use internet connection.

This video comparison is horrific, because, you can clearly see there is a premium expiration notification blocking the top of the screen on the Sygic navigation. On the full premium version of Sygic, you can see absolutely gorgeous views of the skies, 3D mountains, and meticulously-crafted 3D buildings. This makes every other GPS navigation product look ugly and boring. I only care about eye-candy. For this reason, Sygic is the best-looking navigation I have ever seen on Earth.
