I must say that this could be the most stunning fish tank my eyes have ever beheld. The Altum is truly a majestic aquatic creature of the first order. Their natural coloration is certainly one of nature's finest visual freshwater signatures. The rich chocolate brown of their body's vertical striping, their heads adorned in shimmering hues of turquoise & green iridescence, all the while exotically contrasted by their bright yellow pectoral finnage and underbelly, make them one of South America's most esoteric underwater crowning jewels. Where as I was fortunate enough to keep a small school of Altums about 30 years ago, my then humble 55 gallon aquarium in which they were housed didn't begin to compare with this priceless masterpiece. Thank you!!!
The most beautiful aquarium I've ever seen. I love this, when you cut the dialogue and started the music it made me get real emotional thinking about my mom and dad whom I lost when they were very young, how they loved aquariums especially angelfish, we always had aquariums as I grew up and now I have got my 7 year old daughter into them.... Its been a blessing watching and sharing your videos with her George. Thank you and God bless you for what you do. Never stop, you'll always have people following!...
Absolutely wonderful! Breathtaking! I wouldn’t add plants, this is perfect as it is. The overhead lighting, shadows, backlighting, rocks, wood, intermittent bubbles. “Simplicity is beauty!”
George i really think that the aquarium is wonderful just without plants. The hardscape is strong and the concept and background no needs modifications. Perfect work of ADG thanks for share
This is simply majestic! Angelfish are my favorite and although no aquarium would do them justice, this amazing tank setup - somehow - does. I'm truly speechless. Thanks so much for sharing.
I never liked angelfsh but in combination with this gigantic and minimalistic but perfectly arranged tank they are absolutely beautyful! This is the most stunning aquarium I have seen so far. Pure harmony!
This is a phenomenal job and we love the silver and black and how the angels just become part of the whole modern design. Really stunning!!! We used red lava rock for our tank but friends of us have used the black and that would really kill in this kind of design as well!!!
Awesome Angels....this is the kind of tank my aunt had many yrs ago that got me hooked on aquariums at age 5. By age 8 I had 56 tanks and was selling to shops and hobbyists to support them. 👍👍👍
It is a nice tank, angelfish don't really like a lot of light so this is pretty ideal. The slow bubbles give the water just enough to keep movement in the water without a harsh filter with a big flow which angelfish don't like either. Good job!
OMG i think i never saw anything like that..😍 So beautiful that way, without plants! You're like a fish whisperer 😮 they follow you everywhere 😍😍 Love it 👏🔝
Absolutely gorgeous! The tank is a piece of art! You don't need plants. A very effective and dramatic touch - having only one type & color of angelfish. Would love to see this in person.
Balance btwn displaying the fish and having décor to compliment there beauty as well as be functional for them is on Display with this....This is how I scape my Tanks....Simplistic, functional, and the Fish are the stars
Love hos friendly the fish are as they follow the movements of him. They expect food, I know, but it still makes them great pets. It's a gorgeous aquascape! Especially the backlight is a really nice touch. I think the tank does well without plants, but if something was to be added, perhaps something lean, straight, and striving upward, as that might be a nice contrast to the twirls of the branches and the roughness of the stones on the bottom.
ADG is simply crushing the hardscaping game. All of their tanks are works of art. This is incredible. Definitely would not plant this. Perfect the way it is.
You are blessed George. You get to view aquarium that most people will never get to see. Thanks for giving us a peek, into your world. I definitely agree, no plants. I wasn’t to keen on the bubbles, it was distracting. It took attention away from the fish and aquascape
Bubble like that don’t add much oxygen to the water column, if any. There is other ways to add oxygen to the water column without having bubbles rising from the bottom of the tank to the top that distract the eyes from the aquarium in my opinion. And most can be done hidden depending on his filtration system which isn’t evident.
Absolutely stunning... I am currently in the process of planning a new tank and think this will become a major source of inspiration for it. Would love to see a little more on how the backlighting was achieved?
Really fantastic work! To many people think of nature as a peaceful, perfect paradise - it isn't! It's a rough and hard place to live, were animals have to fight for survival every day. They are threatened by predators, diseases, pollution and environmental conditions. If cared for correctly - captivety is a very good alternative! Furthermore if animals are at the brink of extinction its our responsibility to create backup populations for obvious reasons. I'm more of a reptile guy but the argument with PETA fans is the same over here. Please excuse my English, I'm not a native speaker. Greetings from Germany Moritz
Thank you George for sharing this setup. Ahh... a fish tank dedicated to fish. 😀 Angelfish are my number one favorite dating back to the 60's even. I really like the tank as it is! Not sure I would like to be the one vacuuming the gravel thought. 😯 If I really, really "had" to add plants I probably would add val or sag to the back corners, a sword plant off center in the middle and a bit of moss to a few of the branch tops. Definitely would keep it minimal for sure.
The tank is perfect how it is. It looks stunning. I played the video through my 55” hdtv, it looks amazing, just like having it in my own living room for 10 minutes
For you new folks without huge bucks for multi-thousand dollar tanks...it's all good. You can still have an inexpensive tank and see and really love and enjoy it. Don't let all this fancy stuff and RUclips channels about high-end fish and costly gadgets and high-tech tanks keep you from loving this great great hobby. Best regards all! -Bruce the Budget Aquarist
Good point. A 55 gallon tank setup complete with plants and fish can be had for less than $200, if you know what you are doing, and half the fun is learning what to do!! Buy small fish and treat them well. They will be large fish faster than you thought.
Sound assessment, I guess that says multi-millions mansion accessory in a bold sterile fashion. If you you love aquaria it does not take 1000s to create something equally beautiful & scaled to fit your own space. There are so many cool fish in the hobby & people can be contacted through youtube something for everyone 👍.
Hey George! I actually was the one that received them and medicated them. Super satisfying to see them in such a great setup. They are extremely difficult to adjust them coming from the wild. Well done ADG!!!
Thanks for the inspiration to create my own. The visuals are the greatest part from shimmering lightning, tall dimensions, contrasting hardscape, and simplistic colouration.
Not sure what to think 🤔 of this aquarium. But I do know that the size is brilliant. Personally, I would create a much, much darker environment for these fish as you’ll find in most places in the Amazon. I’m sure the fish would thank you for this by showing their most beautiful colors and I suppose they’d feel saver as well. For me this aquarium looks to “clinical”. But the size.......wow
absolutely stunning! Have to agree with some of the others who think some Plants are needed though- moss or some dwarf buce on the rocks would take this tank to the next level. Doesn’t need to be planted in a way that changes the silhouette, the scape is perfect- just needs something to bring it to life- even something like red root floaters would add a whole new dimension to the scape and make it feel complete.
This tank is simply gorgeous. I would let some algae grow on the rocks. The only plant I would consider adding would be "grass" (can't think of the plant name right now), but then they would need more light and CO2. With the tank depth and set up, plants would probably be more work than they would be worth. I've already talked myself out of plants. LOL. The tank certainly does not need them. As it is now, it reminds me of the desert. The lighting they are using is perfect.
I got to meet him a couple weeks ago. Hes a great man. He recommended you recently and now im subscribed. Im no where near your level as i just started
Simply Magnificent !!! "Rhapsody in Monochrome"... a true creation of living art. Although i love plants, and i'd kill for a tank this size just for all the plants that love to go TALL, i also love simple aquariums that are going to house and highlight the fish, especially if the tank reflects the environment of the species, but this ? Ahhh ! This does that on such a master level. The grays, the charcoals, the whites...inorganic / organic...inanimate and living moving jewels....DAMN ! This belongs in the Guggenheim ! My new Aquascaping Book available for pre-order - amzn.to/36FlCd7
I copied your idea in Pakistan with 5 feet aquarium, it's very nice with back ground lights
Says I can't order the book in America. What's up with that?
What is this
What is her name
How many gallon is that tank pls I want to know
That’s such a classy tank, absolute perfection. The only thing I’d change is it’s location....needs to be in my house! 😍

Such a beautiful description of such a beautiful fish
This just gave me an idea for my future Angelfish aquascape. Simple and elegant, no plant maintenance while keeping the focus on the fish.
Magnifique aquarium minimaliste, élégant….la classe!

Thanks Michael. Sorry for your loss but happy you’ve found my videos helpful 💚🙏
The most beautiful angel tank I have ever seen. I need this
Absolutely gorgeous. Almost Zen-like in its beauty.
LOOKS AMAZING.... any videos about how mush upkeep / hours needed to be used on keeping it alge free mainly ?
Aesthetically it's hauntingly beautiful. The wood is outstanding! The lighting brings the whole look together.
I was thinking the same thing. It's really cool looking but eerie and macabre all at once.
Absolutely wonderful! Breathtaking! I wouldn’t add plants, this is perfect as it is. The overhead lighting, shadows, backlighting, rocks, wood, intermittent bubbles. “Simplicity is beauty!”
So simple and yet so elegant, absolutely gorgeous
This is literally the most stunning aquarium I have ever seen.
How stunning! The silhouette of the branches with only the backlight! I LOVE it! I love the Angels!
Stunning. My fav moment 5:52. Approaching the fish and they all gather and approach too. You r the best George. 😊
George i really think that the aquarium is wonderful just without plants. The hardscape is strong and the concept and background no needs modifications. Perfect work of ADG thanks for share
JUST BEAUTIFUL
Probably one of the best tanks i ve seen...stunning..who needs a tv
This is simply majestic! Angelfish are my favorite and although no aquarium would do them justice, this amazing tank setup - somehow - does. I'm truly speechless. Thanks so much for sharing.
I think this absolutely stunning, clean, minimalistic with soft ambient lighting.
I love how it is by the kitchen area. Grab your coffee and gaze at a masterpiece...
I never liked angelfsh but in combination with this gigantic and minimalistic but perfectly arranged tank they are absolutely beautyful! This is the most stunning aquarium I have seen so far. Pure harmony!
Look so futurist ! The light is amazing with this blue background. So relaxing and hypnotic
This is a phenomenal job and we love the silver and black and how the angels just become part of the whole modern design. Really stunning!!! We used red lava rock for our tank but friends of us have used the black and that would really kill in this kind of design as well!!!
One of the most beautiful aquarium I have ever seen. Just the right amount of scaping to achieve a perfect balance. Thank you for featuring it.
Backlighting with tank lights off is just incredible. Fantastic aquarium
Awesome Angels....this is the kind of tank my aunt had many yrs ago that got me hooked on aquariums at age 5. By age 8 I had 56 tanks and was selling to shops and hobbyists to support them.
👍👍👍
So beautiful. I think the subdued lighting allows fish to be more relaxed, even if it means no or few plants.
A perfect example of scaping! Stunning to watch, unbelievable to achieve… Best aquascape for angelfish I ever see!
WOW im speechless those altums
Trust me this is the best decoration I have ever seen in my life, even the dusky evening mode is just outstanding. Lots of love and best wishes from 🇮🇳
so simple, yet intricate - hardscape is absolutely gorgeous as it is without plants. looks like it's from another world. this is a dream tank 💚
Amen.
Agree 100
Good Morning ❤ 💕 💖 💞 💞 💖 💖 💕 💖 💕 But Photos Video
Lizzie Block I so want one! Dream tank for sure.
For sure this tank is bigger than my whole apartment haha!
this tank is sooo beautiful!!!!
I like *slow* moving fish. I find them more relaxing when I'm sitting watching a tank. Love the silhouette when the lights are off.
Agreed, generally. There is something more relaxing about the ponderous nature of angels or discus or things of that nature.
Breathtaking! With the lights off, unreal! The fish are spectacular.
This is the most badass looking fish tank that I've ever seen... unbelievable
Absolutely top drawer! Angelfish one of my favs growing up as kid. Buy them size of quarter and watch them grow to large size.
It is a nice tank, angelfish don't really like a lot of light so this is pretty ideal. The slow bubbles give the water just enough to keep movement in the water without a harsh filter with a big flow which angelfish don't like either. Good job!
George question you said 2 kessil 160 tuna sun by looking at the hood it appears to be 3 and the backlight
The total effect is so peaceful, not least because the fish aren't aggressively harrying each other.
All i can say is WOW. Beautiful work .

FloodXL perfect for you not for the fish
Fish look healthy and content to me; but I'm sure they dream and think of the Amazon daily. I bet they miss all there fish relatives in South America.
Raymond St. Germain III lol. With no predators and great care, I’m sure they’re fine.
@@ThePurplecadillac - Amazing all of you Emo peeps coming onto these videos anthropomorphizing on simple fish. 😆

You were so sweet and kind taking a picture with me at Aquashella Dallas. I wanted to say thank you again and that this is beautiful.
My pleasure, Ashlyn. Thanks so much 🙏
George Farmer 🥳🥳 yay I’m glad you saw my post!! And ur welkies!
Are you an Aquascaper ??
rock and woodwork + perfect lighting, especially the background light omg!
Absolutely gorgeous! The impression that comes to my mind is a classic Chinese landscape painting.
The Altum move like the are in outer space. Cool!
That aquarium is awesome. I love everything about it.
Absolutely stunning... I am currently in the process of planning a new tank and think this will become a major source of inspiration for it. Would love to see a little more on how the backlighting was achieved?
backlighting is at 3:39
it's perfect already.. no need for plants... simply awesome!
planning to do a new aquarium and this is a great idea.
Perfect, love to see the filtration system
This is perfection. Ultimate relaxation
Simple but breathtaking..amazing tank:)
I think it is stunningly beautiful the way it is.
Holy smokes. That looks amazing!!

Giant vallis also some dark backing ..but absolutely wonderful tank ..stunning
I'd add jungle vals. Simple and almost maintenance free. Plus the fact the tank is 3ft high, it would look perfect!
Vals as my first thought too, followed by how to keep it looking so good - esp with so much light around?
Easily top 5 aquariums I have ever seen. It’s mind blowing how peaceful the angel fish are. Not even reefs can touch this
The tank is perfect how it is. It looks stunning.
I played the video through my 55” hdtv, it looks amazing, just like having it in my own living room for 10 minutes
Lol nice . I can appreciate a man that knows quality when he sees it
We need a video of just the fish for about 30-60 min played on a loop to download and play on our TVs!
I always say this and you proved it ...simplisty is the key , less is more...the more simple and classic the more it would look stunning !
Very beautiful tank !!! The Angelfish are my favorite fishes. Bravo.
Favorite FISH!
I thought I recognized this tank! Seen it in person. Quite stunning. So many beautiful tanks at ADG.
