I've had the Angelfish Aquarium planned for a while but wanted to wait until the Ecosystem Aquarium was a year old. It's proved it's success, I've learnt tons and it's now time to move on :)...So here come the Angels!!! A more simplistic sccape this time to ensure that the fish are very visible and the stars of the show. I love how it turned out and I hope you like it too 😊

I bet those kuhli loaches helped prevent old tank syndrome in the previous setup by regularly stirring up your substrate.
One of the Rummy Nose seemed to float and bang off the side glass behind your head, might be good to check the back right corner if you possibly did have one casualty. 34:10
Can you do a budget setup and plot it's progress over a year. Like £100 - £200 to get everything you need. Start with a few plants that you can take cuttings from to grow into a full planted tank. A 25L tank would be a good size.
I must say, minutes with Matt explaining history, breed, care instructions and sizes full grown, about fish is becoming one of my favorite parts on your amazing scapes
This truly came out stunningly well. Very nice setup, MD. Those blue angels are in my top 3, I love the blues, and they shimmer like diamonds like you said. Can't wait to see them grow up. Take care
Indeed these are 2/ 3 of my top 3 fish I didn't know you could get away with putting angels and tetras together but it makes sence if you get em small together they can't eat em this is so beautiful
Love ur stuff man, been watching for a while now and have learnt so much now. I was getting out of fish and the whole under water world but when ur video popped up in my feed u brought it all back for me bc u showed me a different way of fish keeping and how to do different things

MD this is stunning. It's a very contemporary designed tank which looks amazing for the Angels to swim in and grow. Your selection of tank mates for the Angels is great and the end result is another winner.
This is one of my favorite tanks. I love how open and clean it looks. As the plants fill in, it’s going to look even better. Sometimes, simple and light actually looks better. Especially when you have busy quick moving fish.
We had a bunch of huge tanks at one point. Even a small pond in the living room! Now, we’re just down to two, tiny little ones. One square with a few snails and some aquatic grass. Another moss tank. I miss it. Watching this, I live vicariously through you!
This definitely shows off the fish more than the natural scape. This tank is more featuring the fish which I love

I’ve learned a ton of info and found that live plants and beautiful hard scales are not difficult at all. You have definitely kept my interest and advanced my skill in my aquariums. Thank You. Thank you MD , Another really incredible scape !! My absolute favorite of them all , so natural w/ just enough flow where your plants are concerned & the Angels can glide around their new home . This is all about showcasing the fish and great job on how you placed your stones , it looks amazing and IMO one of the hardest part to get right & you nailed it. Good to have a few Angels around to liven up the Studio & the great mini schools of Tetras is as good as it gets !!! A tank that Takashi would have in his home no doubt about it 💙💚

I love having a big display tank: more plants, more fish. But you're right about tidying up as you go when resetting it. Otherwise, you end up with a big mess and stuff everywhere. It can even be a little risky; I once twisted my ankle because I got so much water on the floor.

amazing scape as always, a small school of geophagus tapajos (orange head earth eaters) would go awesome in there with the angles and tetra a propper classic yet some how modern looking aquairum

Beautiful scape! I think a banjo catfish would be a really interesting inhabitant for this setup. They burrow in sand and I think having 1-3 of those popping up occasionally would be quite neat.
