We took our kids there every year from 1976 to 1984. Fantastic holidays. What made the beach special was the large numbers on the wall, we just told them to look out for the number near our spot and find us. That was in the days you could let your kids safely go to the waters edge without fear of dirty peado’s accosting them. Barry Island holds fantastic memories.
