2. Bring back 2k15-16-17 rep system
3.bring back 2k16 Play styles “inside, outside, balanced” to eliminate op archetypes and bring back a skill gap
4. bring back 2k15 rec center where you can get on the got next and wear park clothes
5. Keep myteam similar to how it was this year with no drastic changes because myteam was very successful
6. Keep the park events similar but find a way to put an end to boosting and delaying

I am a Genius from the Future. The best archetype system for nba 2k franchise is 2k16 and 2k17 combined. Choose One Archetype; Playmaker, Slasher, sharpshooter, glass cleaner, lockdown, post Scorer. Than choose one; inside, Balance, Outside. I would start the year of with a "Balanced Lockdown".

If 2k20 news release early, then we could give advice on what new features should or shouldn't stay in the game. Then the devs could remove the features that the community does not agree on. If Ronnie2K and LD2K release the news early, then 2k could be released with minimal complaints and problems.

To be fair, I actually play mycareer, I know a lot of people who play park were excited for the archetype system. I just don't like having to play against KD and Lebron in mycareer knowing my player can never really be a superstar.

The dude that complains about getting ripped has to take into account his stamina,his badges, boost, ...iq. Etcetc if a pure playmaker is spamming dribble moves and the stretch is just standing there his ability to get the ball increases

I play with a sharpshooting playmaker and he barely gets ripped. I am a stretch four and I at least get ripped twice a game, the ball handling is fine.

2K needs a more diverse and balanced meta. How should it work? Like this:
Start: 2 Archetypes, same as 2K19
OVR 85 or 90: Able to select a third Archetype, adding cap space to certain attributes as determined by the new selection. Player Archetype upgraded to one of the Star listings given to players in game (e.g. Klay Thompson: Two-Way Star)
OVR 95: Able to select a fourth Archetype, adding cap space based on new selection like the previous clause. Player Archetype upgraded to Superstar (Offensive, Two-Way, whatever)
Remove Defending as an Archetype. Remove Sharpshooter as an Archetype. Instead of the old system of Inside, Outside and Balanced, make a new system of categories that can take effect without getting rid of the Archetype system. Make the player select whether they want to focus Offense, Defense, or be a two-way. Have that affect the way badges are earned by giving every Archetype a certain number of offensive and defensive badges, and whatever category a player chooses changes what badges go to what level. A player could make an Offensive Pure Sharp and get HoF Limitless, CaS, etc. while another player might want a Defensive Pure Sharp with only Silver Limitless and CaS, but also solid Pickpocket and Defensive Stopper badge.
Lockdowns and rims and rim defenders should not be green threes like a stretch

Playmakers just think they’re supposed to iso for 20+ seconds and never get ripped. You should NOT be able to dribble like that the entire game and then complain when you get ripped. And then playmakers don’t even get ripped the way they’re supposed to. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen the ball go through my body while a playmakers was spamming his dribble moves. If 2K could nerf the momentum dribble just a little bit, it would be a better game.

Honestly the way the archetype system sounds is just so dumbed down and just taking a step back, I would rather be extremely unique with my build or at least specialize in a specific thing than be like every other person on the game. With this archetype system it sounds like there is no variety and everyone will make the same thing, I 100% doubt that this will be the archetype system

They need to bring back 2k17 facial customization, and add back those hairstyles instead of taking them away each year, and the amount of cloths in the cloths store decreases every year , increase graphics on park like on 2k17 where everyone’s player had good graphics and not just yours and also other players shoes
Idk if I will like it if it's this way...I liked archetypes. Some were broken yes but I don't understand why 2k can't just need some archetypes. It's as simple as this, make stretches and post scorers easier to rip, and nerf post scorer take over. That would be perfect
I really don’t get how the inside, outside and balanced builds alongside the current archetype system is a win? The current archetype system technically has inside, outside and balanced. Outside is a sharp, inside slashing and post scoring and balanced would be a shot creator. Could someone please enlighten me on how this actually changes anything? I think 2k just needs to focus on balance and expanding the archetype system to three types instead of two which is more realistic.
