The end of the video shows our visit to the Gerrardstown Cemetery, Hunter’s final resting place. While in West Virginia we were blessed to stay with family and had a wonderful time together, and shared many memories. It was nine years ago this week that we lost our nephew, Hunter to suicide. You have inspired John and I to get back to VA and WV. So much to see and do. We did not know Harper’s Ferry was within the NP system. We are doing that next time through! Great video and fun music. John and Caroline ☘️ So sorry to hear about your nephew Hunter. 🙏 Thanks for sharing and bringing awareness.
Thank you John and Caroline, so much. If you can go there when the interpretive programs are happening, I bet it would be really interesting! Thank you, Hunter is greatly missed. - Michelle
Another very well filmed and edited video when you mentioned your drinks I instantly thought of the song so very nice touch! As well as with the John Brown songs we love history and remember these songs and stories and you did a great job telling these stories and speaking of the right side/wrong side. We are fans of the America Beautiful pass been renewing for many many years and always worth it. I am sorry about your nephew we have also dealt with suicide we have lost friends and family members it is a subject that does need to be shared and hopefully we can help others. Thank you!
Thank you for your compliments on the music and editing! So sorry you have also had loss due to suicide. It seems to be something very difficult for people to talk about, and that is sad. Hopefully awareness will help open up conversations. - Michelle
We just got our America the Beautiful pass in Roswell, NM. I think yours has some added discounts! Woo! Moving tribute to your nephew. What a beautiful area. ~Shanna
Glad you got your pass! People of a certain age can get a lifetime senior pass. I believe the discount depends on the park. Thank you Shanna, we miss him greatly. - Michelle
