I like your style of setting up your shelter.
Keep up on good work ;)
This year it will be my first time using hammock on my bike trips.

Many thanks, if you want lots of hammock tips then check out Shug Emory. His videos are very good and fun to watch, top bloke. Happy Trails.

A crane fly landed in your dinner pan 😮 😬
Do you hang your food from a branch over there? We have bears, so it's "hanging a bear bag" here. I have been wondering what you do with your food overnight in UK areas.

I'm not too keen on crispy critters so I removed the crane fly! As for food storage the standard practice is to keep food in a backpack(hammock & tarp camping) or tent. No bears here, only the wild Dartmoor ponies and horses that would eat any food left out. ATB, Chris.

Ever take a dive with a chesty camera on? It's ugly.

Not taken a slam to the chest yet. I worry more about bad drivers on the road to be honest. I imagine it hurts like hell if you land on a chesty cam. I believe the UCI banned chest mounts in racing for a good reason. Cheers Brian.

@@73megalith I like the view at times, more stable than a helmet mount. Mounting the camera on the frame in different locations gives interesting perspectives and is necessary if you are trying to look directly over your head while riding. Drivers don't care and there is nothing riders can do about it. It's easy to daydream encased in a ton or two of steel and plastic while chatting on the phone. And that's just an inattentive driver, aggressive drivers are even worse. That's why I love long sections of trail riding or riding in BFE where I have the place to myself. Look at the Amok Draumr if you like hammocks, it's the best sleep I have had in a hammock... ever. - photos.app.goo.gl/8BQU7749wCCLwLKN7
