Hi i just started a dely job and its super crazy, meaning they pay you the minimum to do bakery, dely, cleaning, toxic environment, managers fight, employees fight using even the f.., word
The worst that’s is happening to me right now is that there is not training at all, i feel stupid following everybody to learn, and if course i feel so insecure when a customer is in front of me bec. this multi millionary market is denying a proper training for myself (as a new employee) the other (BIG) problem is that there is this Afro American lady who is been in the Co. for 7 months already she yells at me in front of the customers and clap her hands when she wants me to do something. First day I didn’t say anything, but I didn’t come back because of her, after 2 days manager called to my housr and I explained him the situation, he asked me if i wanted to come back and i said yes, because i really need the job, but the Afro American lady continuos yelling at me and this time I didn’t keep quite, i told her in her face you don’t talk to me like that, specially in front of the clients.
I’m really nervous and upset to return to work, tomorrow it will be my second day. Do you have any advise for me?
Also i’m 62 (consider a Senior) she’s much younger and not even for that reason she’s respecting me!!

I would call HR . No manager should talk to you like that in front of clients its unprofessional. Just remember HR works for the company so they're always on their side . Document everything. Take to local social media.

I think in her crazy mind because she’s been in the dely for 8 months, she thinks she owes the dely!!
And just got my first schedule and she’s the only one getting 8 hours daily, the rest like me only 30!!

Hi this morning FIRED me for asking them to give me proper training, yesterday they pushed me to cut the ham and turkey because a customer was waiting. I was so afraid of the machine, but one worker convinced to do it and did it. Of course i was terrified and the turkey didn’t come right, the customet said I don’t want that. So the Suv. cut the ham for the customer. And wisper to another employee let’s give the ham to the customer to this customer that he was waiting forever, i want to say f…g b….tch if you would give me the proper training, this would never happen, also the Suv. when I asked her for training she said she doesn’t have time to babysitter any new employee!!
Right now I don’t feel good at all!!

They also pay you crap . You can make more just being a cashier somewhere else vs being a lead at Piolt.

Terrible place to work. They don't valued employees at all . Wasted 5 years there. Walked away with nothing.
