- Police have released video of a shooting outside of the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit that sent four men to the hospital with serious injuries.

The shooters had impeccable aim to hit that many people in a moving vehicle that fast
Automatic rapid-fire machine guns could kill dozens of people within 2 and 3 seconds if each bullet fatally hit it's target. All the shooter did was hold the gun steady and pull the trigger at exactly the right time while moving in their vehicle. Either it was sheer luck, or the result of previous training and resultant skill. I guess we may never know the full story

OMG it has gotten worse. I too grew up in Detroit born and raised. Had a great childhood. There were families everywhere and we looked out for eachother. My childhood neighborhood is now filled with abandoned homes and the area is Atrocious. I had my beautiful baby boy and simply refused to expose him to that type of Detriment so we moved out of state and I came back to Michigan and purchased a home in the country. He loves that he's from Detroit but always asks why does it look different from the community we currently live in. It sad that I keep my distance from there because thats home to me. But I feel out of place if im there too long smh

I used to get off of the Woodward bus and walk past that hotel every night on my way to catch the Grand River bus. Downtown is not safe. I hated having to go down there.

There was this drunken young woman who was flashing her backside at a bus stop. The men, at the other bus stops, noticed and pounced on her. She put up a violent struggle against them until she ended up being taken advantage of out in the open. That “Hot Girl Summer” nonsense took a wrong turn. Horrible down there during those late summer nights. Very unsafe. My ignorant republican comment comes from personally witnessing the violence down there, not from what I heard.

With that camera video, they will have a hard time. Detroit has always been a tuff town. I was assaulted once outside a bar/restraurant outside of greektown once. The police did nothing, the person who assaultet me was a off-duty officer working in the bar.

Is it just me... But the chief of police viewed this video... All these detectives and other law enforcement officers viewed the surveillance footage.... And I read the previous comments, and I haven't seen any mentioning of the victim stumbling out of the SUV and dropping his silver hand gun, then picking it up and then firing at the suspects vehicle. My guess is that the victim who had the gun and firing it down a dark street was the victim that ran away... Did he have a permit for that gun? Ummm, I doubt it.
