Pure magic Richy, it`s almost like if i was back there again myself... want to give you millions of tips on what to do but this is your trip.. Keep enjoying it!!!
Thanks mate that’s exactly what I set out to do, bring back memories and inspire people who haven’t been to come. I haven’t got long left here it was always a reconnaissance trip for my next visit hopefully in 2025 and the advice is always more than welcome.
I enjoy your videos. Thank you. I like to offer one suggestion. "I'm OK" is British. It's not universally understood. When someone asks you if you want something and you don't want it, I suggest saying "No". In most parts of the world, "I'm Ok" means you feel ok. I doesn't mean no. Maybe that's why everyone asks you twice or three times. Please try it. It works for me on the first "No". I'm also in Nepal at the moment and I have been to some of the streets you walked. Very cool. Keep up the good work. Mark
Hey mate I did annapurna base camp trek twice 1996 and 1998. I was in my late 20s. Got altitude sickness second time. It's a tough trek mate. Can be done in 10 to 12 days. I hope you get too see the mountains up close man It is absolutely breathtaking. I was lucky enough to get a full moon and clear night up there. The most amazing thing I've ever seen. It's awesome watching your videos and seeing how much things have changed. Keep them coming..
I did it 2001 in 7 days and wish i had done it in 9.. need to enjoy everyday and every moment and not just walk.. ABC is absolutley fantastic, last day after the 2nd last bace camp (MBC) the walk up to the ABC is pure magic, panoramic view of peaks from 6000m to +8000m 360° view man 🥲 holy shit it almost hurts inside me thinking about it
Thanks mate, unfortunately I won’t have time on this trip but I’ll be back next year to do a few good ones. I’ve spoken to few people here and they said it’s amazing too.
@@ParkinsonRaw Think i said it before but, when in Pokhara you can go up to Sarangkot, best to stay one night up there and wake up early, epic view mate epic
Oh I was laughing Richy when you nearly lost the plot at the bus station in Bandipur. Been there myself many a time. No matter how cool a character you are, when you get off of a local bus after a nightmare 8 hour journey to be met by an aggressive crowd of taxi/hotel touts, I challenge anyone not to lose it😂 Keep up the videos, they are hilarious mate.
You waiting for the bus gave me bad memories of Casablanca, l'm an easy going guy but eventually you can be ground down by persistent hassling to eventually flipping. You are knocking great vids out regularly now. 👍
Cheers, Richy! It would do my head in too mate keep getting asked the same questions. I had a similar thing in Morroco, yes, they want your custom, but it spoils what the place has on offer IMO.
Yes mate the Bus Travel is hard work . road works . old bus. dust . rain. etc . i did it once then decided to hire a car and driver . Happy travels mate
Because of the Clouds IT was was hard to see but I’m pretty sure the mountain you were looking at was Fishtail in Nepali Mapuchare which has never been climbed as it is a sacred Mountain…a liitle like mountain kailash in Tibet. It is one of the most beautiful mountains in the world rather like AMA Dablam and the Matterhorn. In the Annapurnas it’s not that high under 7000m. From Pokhara you should be able to see a number of the 14 tallest mountains in the World including Manaslu and Dhalguiri . Also you should be able to see Annapurna South. If you go to Sarangkot just above Pokhara views will be even better or just hike up to the World Peace Temple . By the way the new Shiva Temple you can see above the lake is an experience …….
Yes the taxis things it makes me laugh it do like you know it the same in Thailand why would I say yes after saying no to 7 in an row 😅 its mad love your saying that way. Yes the roads look very bad I think I be like get me off and yes the tourists bus's may have better support. Hope you find a pair of boots to walk in if you not already done it pull up the soul and stuff it full of carboud that will help for a little bit and it will only be a little bit Loving the journey
Thanks Jason, I’m as happy as a pig in sh#t mate. I got some new trainers and they’re really good. All is revealed in the next vlog when I go shopping and take a walk through lakeside Pokhara.
I can only show people my true travel experience, I did say in the vlog the roads are under construction and I understand but i also know this has being going on for a few years and will last for a few more.
In poorer countries people are trying even harder to make a sale, and therefore solicit more. As a foreigner who doesn’t speak the language, wouldn’t “No, thank you” be much less ambiguous than “I’m okay”? Or simply learn to say ‘no thank you’ in their language. It may not (probably won’t) stop repeated solicitations by the same person, but it couldn’t hurt.
@@chadmartinez459 I’ve said no thank you a million times Chad and it’s done me no good whatsoever, sometimes it’s inevitable that I lose my patience. If you have watched all of the vlog they were forcibly pushing people into the buses, that pushes me too far. I’m the most respectful traveller until there tactics go overboard.
cheap tourist always complaining too much get a 15 min flight if you really dont like to travel in these bumpy dusty roads jeez man ,the highway is in major underconstruction from kathmandu to pokhara why are you getting annoyed with these things when you're traveling cheap
@@ayoogorkhali9262 haha I show my true travel experience and it shouldn’t matter what budget your on the road here was insanely bad. Ridiculous comment to be honest👍🏻

It is lovely and I love watching the birds, I’m not sure what they are but I would guess sparrows.

Thank you Jack, it’s in the description mate and on the homepage of my channel👍🏻👌🏻
You need a pair of roller skates to go down them hills , ust like we had when we were kids. The metal ones that you tie onto your trainers
Lol class idea mate I used to be ok on skates back in the day
Yes richy
Thanks mate
You've landed on your feet with your digs so far pal.
I have Matthew thanks mate, they are so cheap here.
Hi Richy....were you sitting close to directly above the back wheels on the bus?...I wondered because that would make the ride really bumpy
Thanks Darryl, probably mate I never really thought about that to be honest

Is the food like indian
It’s similar but not as diverse, there are loads of Indian restaurants here though and many other cultures.
You got misunderstood actually roads are in under construction its a part of Development projects ..
I can only show people my true travel experience, I did say in the vlog the roads are under construction and I understand but i also know this has being going on for a few years and will last for a few more.
I am off to India in 2 weeks are you heading that way any time soon ?
Unfortunately not mate, I’m hoping to be there at the end of the year but if not definitely early next year. I hope you have a great time.
Why you sit over the back wheels get to the middle of the bus more stable !
Thanks Shaun I stupidly never thought of that mate.
Richy whats been your favourite place
Has to be Bandipur mate, so beautiful, distinctive and relaxing I loved it
All I've got are these damn Nepalese coins.
