Check to see if your servo saver arm is hitting your servo mount at the end points and loosen the servo saver a bit. With the m2c chassis I had to dremel off a little of the servo saver arm to allow it to clear the servo mount. The tekno facebook forum has great info on this! Dont give up on the MT410 yet you will figure it out. Cheers!
There’s some channel can’t remember it, but he’s having some kind of huge RC get together next summer. He’s building tracks and jumps on his property. It’s the dude that friends with Talbot. I think he’s a monster truck driver. That would be cool if he pulls it off for you & your crew to show up there
Every servo I ran inside my Mt410 was super old and already on its way out man😬 and those garbage Traxxas servos lasted me a whole bash which was a lot longer than I could have asked for using something with the name of Traxxas🤣 I hate to see you have some bad luck with the servo man, but if there’s anything I have learned is not every single upgrade is a good upgrade. While I love the m2c chassis I have found the reverse servo placement limits a lot of travel to the left unless you trim the servo saver. Even then it’s still not perfect. I guarantee you if I throw the stock chassis on it will fix this problem. Both trucks are awesome my dude! And I truthfully wouldn’t let something like this deter you from such a amazing platform.
Get a reefs servo or space the servo up with some servo spacers it might help because I feel your killing then because of them slapping thr chassis on landings so some rubber servo spacers may help your problem
That’s weird man ide go back and check the electronics. Maybe the bec is fried and just sending straight battery voltage to the servo/receiver. Other than that my gamechanger build has been great. Running the M2c longer arm on the short hole. Got the saver backed off two turns. By the book they wanted three I think. I’m running an aluminum case power hd 30kg and it’s been a total beast. Tons of crashes and still good to go no issues. Your running the arm correctly. The servo gets flipped from the stock config. Tekno steering is so smooth I can’t for the life of me figure out why you’d be burning them up other than bad bec power source
I think u need go with the eco power 125 I think it is. I maybe wrong and the 120 is the biggest not sure but I would try a different brand servo. Or is the servo sitting on the chassis do u have a gap between the two? Maybe it hitting the chassis on the big air on the landing?
Of course you know it's backwards , I'm thinking the backwards setup is bad stress , get a savox ? What electronics are u running in the talion , my mt410 has never broke anything YET ?
Thunder, I wonder why that’s eating servos?! But you told me to buy the Talion and it’s been a blast!!!!! Your videos get better every time you post!! I’m proud of you bro! Stellar sends and trigger skills!! Loved every minute my man! 👊💯👍⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Try going back to the stock 410 chassis and see if the problem goes away. I’ve been running a 50 Powerhobby servo in mine for almost 3 years with zero issues!!! I’m not using a m2c chassis so an educated guess would be that there’s a design flaw of some sort. I mean really what else could it be? Also the kraton 6s wheels are a bit much for that rig try the 4s backflips instead……
Had a very similar issue with the servo on mine. What you have to do is add some servo spacers to the mounting holes to raise it up a couple mm, what’s happening is the servo is hitting the chassis.
As far as the tekno, try loosening the servo saver a few turns if you haven't already. They are born and bred to be a race truck, so steering tolerances are inherently tighter than most other bashers. For servos, check out NSDRC- they focus on servos for crawler/rock racers and are known for their durability and value. The RS-500b is their entry model, but for $60 it packs 520 oz-in @.09 on direct power (16.8v)- I've been running in in my tlr typhon and it's incredible.. For double the price, the RS-800 boasts crazy power and they claim nobody has ever broken the gears and so they give a lifetime warranty on them. A final option that I have not been able to break will run about $150- the Savox SB-2292SG. Super tough, but amp hungry and needs external bec to reach it's potential. I'm a fan of the direct power options myself as they bypass the esc bec and therefore keep the esc less stressed and running cooler. Lastly, NSDRC offers an in-line voltage limiter so you can run up to 12s and still run the direct power servos. Cheers!
Nice im going give one of those a try on my typhon too. You answered all my questions. I like idea not using esc ive been adding fans direct power , I just run auxiliary 4s battery . Do I need to buy a splitter wire ? I guess I get the wire you mentioned anyway incase I want run 6s . Typhon is a BEAST I turned one into a truggy with granite body im going change with one of those tuff chevy c10 bodies. Rpm mount and team coraley wing 👌
@@paulclancy2404 I just soldier 18ga wire direct from power leads either off esc post or xt90 connector with a jst on other end. You can get 2 or 3 way splitter if you need more. The voltage limiter can just plug in line before going to the split and you're good to run 4s-12s lipos. Nice thing about the large arrma rx boxes is all the wiring can fit inside no problem. Good luck mate!
Hey rocky, how did you do the blue on the inside of talion windows? it looks great. I would like to do that on a j concepts kraton body i just painted.
Sucks about your tekno. I have the same Hitec servo in mine for a couple of years. Even ran trencher 40 series on it so tire size shouldn’t matter. Mine is all stock, I didn’t have the need to go m2c. I actually haven’t had a single steering issue in mine since I built it. Hope you get your sorted out. Great video 👍 love some talion action!
Hi bro!). It's a pity tekno broke the server. What voltage are you applying to the servo? Maybe put a remote bec ? Plus the question of tightness ? She's a waterprouf, maybe moisture gets in? I am glad to see a new video! Keep it up!) I finally put my tekno mt410 in order. There were problems with the central differential, and I was also waiting for the 6s backflips :)
Switch the servo back and see what happens... Worst case it eats it and then you know for sure! Steering rack could be a little tight though, try loosening the bolts a bit..
I know you know what you do. But do you Put the Servo saver in? In some Tekno ET Kits There is a optional Link Part in - for Direct Steering. Without a saver spring. Perhaps, Like the Others Said. Bad luck on ESC that Burns the Servo... Or endpoint adjustment...
Another great vid, what is up with servos on the Tekno. Something is causing it you guys know what you are doing, I actually thought servos are made to run in any position, hope you get it figured out cause it's a cool truck but I wouldn't be happy either....good luck bro..
You gotta go with the reefs triple 4 servo. You've seen my 2 Tekno's on my channel and I've had the reefs triple 4 servos in both of those for over a year with no issues 🤷.
Great video Rocky. Sorry that you couldn't bash like you wanted to. The Mt410 is a sweet looking rig; it's too bad about the steering servo. Maybe the servo saver is too tight?? Other than that, I got nothing, bro. But I'm still new to the sport and learning from watching and listening to the advise of yourself and others like Kevin. Is the ESC not communicating with the steering servo properly?? Maybe it needs to be programmed??? Don't feel so bad though; you've got a LOT of other great trucks we love to watch. Have a great one, brother!
It’s the m2c chassis geometry check the Tenno FB group. I really like the power hobby 760 or even the 720. I have a BEC on mine also. I have blown gears in 2 eco power servos lately very easily in another rig. I’m not sure if they changed something lately but they don’t seem to be as tough as the used to be.
You might want to look into a just bash it tall one piece billit servo mount I I have a kraton 6s that hase every M2C part made for it on it down to the new mega shafts and I had to put 2 just bash it parts on mine and the servo mount was one of them because it was all billet and they sale a tall version it works amazing on not flexing look into that and a reefs raw 500 and you be good to go as long as you use the rubber servo spacers on it I have a savox 2292 on mine and haven't killed it yet but if I do I'm going reefs
Cute puppy wanted to turn your Talion into a chew toy 😁🤣😂 Dang the servo zonking out like that is crazy. It could be the servo saver. 🤔 Other than the servo the Tekno is pretty dang cool. The Talion rings supreme though. 🔥 Love the front bump flips. 👍✌️

For your mt10: Tires too heavy, servo saver way too tight, and end points set to allow too much steering throw. These are all clearly seen in every video of your tekno. Possibly a voltage issue, but I don't see anything in this video to confirm this suspicion. Then again, a 60 servo should be able to handle 7.4v.

There has to be a reason your servo is dying so quick. Check your esc and make sure your putting out the right voltage for your servo.

For your mt10:
Tires too heavy, servo saver way too tight, and end points set to allow too much steering throw. These are all clearly seen in every video of your tekno.
