I like both stores because I can get certain things that I like at them.
I wish my Dollar Trees had just half the good stuff that your’s does, Liz.
I actually drive 30 minutes to get to this one, it is the best one I have found!
Same here! Mine is dirty, never stocked.... inventory all over the aisles, still in the boxes....and hardly ever more than 1 cashier! 🤔

I love the color saturation in the Five Below paint pour but concede that Dollar Tree is easier to work with & the color was also beautiful - just not as saturated.
I liked the way DT paint poured but liked the darker colors in the other one.
I like the dollar tree plant center piece better. 🌿

Your Dollar Tree store has so much more then my local one does. Not to mention how organized and clean your DT was?!? The one closest to me is so messy and unorganized. I’m on the hunt now. I’ll have to drive further but it looks like it would be worth it to find a better Dollar Tree to shop at.

I did a DIY with that wood frame twice and turned it into a beautiful tray. Dollar Tree paint pour was definitely the BEST! (Plant) I like the 5 Below plant stand better. Dollar Tree store is definitely the winner in my case.

Hair Blowers are a great tool for pouring painting. It creates great effects.

That 1st paint poor did turn out pretty cool for how much difficulty you had. I get if you went in and did a couple outlines in a metallic paint pen, then finished it off in a high glossy finish it would snazz it up a lot. I liked the depth of the colors of that composition better, but I probably would have just tried to recreate the colors with dollar tree stuff.

Both Pours were equally as beautiful in my Opinion. But on Ease of Use, Dollar Tree-Plus hands down.
PLANT. I like the dollartree paint pour. I am going to be trying that paint. It’s been awhile since I paint poured. I usually just paint. I also like the dollartree plant holder more than the five below one.

Plants....I found more variety at 5 below, our DT has limited everything! No transfer papar, labels or over door kitchen hangers. No plus section either. Will have to check 5 below out!

Thank you for this comparison! That was great! I've always favored Dollar Tree for different reasons than you displayed. I like that Dollar Tree gets random name-brand things that are fun to find. Five below is just too commercially predictable.

Dollar Tree has my heart 😂❤ I do buy little area rugs from 5 Below quite often though for my basement- cheap enough to dirty up, toss and get new ones when needed 👍
I recently bought one of their larger rugs at 5 Below and recovered my outdoor poof! For 5.55.
I think your paint pour pic came out great! Michaels has canvas sales sometimes at 5 for $5 and they are solidly built.

Plant. The paint pour from dollar tree may have slid on nicer but I liked the vibrant color of the five below one.
The plant is called a Split Leaf Philodendron. They are my favorite house plants.

I really like the finished picture from 5 below. The colors have more depth to them. But, both turned out very pretty. Our 5 Below doesn’t carry a lot of the things you demonstrate. Although, I do like their pillows and rugs more at 5 Below. Tfs. God Bless.

Definitely Dollar Tree! It's my favorite store. I especially love their gift wraps, gift bags, greeting cards. And I always get my betty crocker brownie mix there. Oh, and ofcourse we always always always get our tape and dish soap there.

You can always buy a pillow in a size and shape you like and recover it. Personally, I buy the majority of my throw pillows at the thrift store. I just change the covers.
