I love how you do that movie trick to make it look like you’re driving haha that’s actually the safe thing to do so I won’t complain. Love the video man :)
Ciao Dino! I am about 6 weeks into my Jeep life, and learning lots with your videos. Unfortunately the previous owner of my 2019 JL only did annual oil changes, the vehicle has about 33k on it. I was surprised to see 6 mth intervals coming from German cars/synthetic oil.... perhaps my car's previous owners focused on the km travelled or, just didn't care. My best bet moving forward is to use a Jiffy Lube style place and bring the oil and filter (I live in a condo building)?
Ciao wandering-armadillo, I use the EzDrain Valve and as you can see, it makes doing an oil change very easy. The Pentastar engine, with the oil filter cap so easily accessible also helps the process. I do my oil changes in my driveway, even in winter. It is very easy to do it myself, and it helps me save a lot of money. I’d encourage you to try it yourself, after watching a couple videos be fore I’d recommend one of the fast oil change places. However, that is at least still an option. Enjoy your new to you Jeep. Ciao!
@@CheaperJeeperTV Fantastic advice! I like the idea of the EzDrain valve very much. When I mentioned it to a friend he immediately said, "what if it opens accidentally" but I've watched the product video and it seems both sturdy and like a smart mechanism, and well, if it's good enough for you..:)
@@wandering_armadillo LOL...well...in the 4.5 years of having it on my Jeep, and with all the trips off road, like Cape Breton, and Club runs, including in deep winter snow, it had never come loose. I recommend it, as it made changing oil so quick, easy, and clean. The oil simply poured into the empty jug. As an extra measure, I DID order the metal screw on cap for the EZDrain valve. That way, should the valve be knocked open, the cap would constrain the oil to a small leak and give me time to notice. Although, it really wasn't an issue. Cheers. 😃

Hey Edwin, You’re welcome. Many power mobile journalist online believe that the transmission fluid should be serviced. The company, ZF, who make the transmission also recommend servicing the transmission. I intend to make a video on how to do it as the weather gets warmer. Cheers.
Hey yuri, The type of oil for the Wrangler JL is specific to which engine you have. Check out my 3.6L Pentastar oil change video for my 2018 JL. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Cheers.
I actually was surprised to see how much money you actually save every 8,000 km(5,000 miles) by doing that service yourself. Hm. I wonder what I can buy for my Jeep with that money? ;-)
I wish they had my wrangler on that website that would be awesome. I’m trying to check my 2003 Jeep Wrangler and it doesn’t even give me a wrangler option only grand Cherokee and liberty :/
Ah. Too bad. I'm not familiar with what is in your 2003, or if the Cherokee and Liberty had the same engine as what you have, but if those vehicles had the same engine, that might help in terms of maintenance intervals.
Wow, I am very thankful that you showed us where to find the maintenance schedule!
