The Arthur M. Anderson...And out of the Darkness comes a legend of light... Returning to the place her journey began In 1975....on another dark night... But she returns and if she could talk, what a story she could tell us.... Her lights in the snow turn it into a beautiful kaleidoscope of colors... Her graceful maneuver docking is Most like a lithesome dancer.... The Anderson...her beauty shines through this darkness for us to see... Sail on ...sail on majestic lady. . What a splendid video you have brought. An excellent piece of work in the dark Of night. Thank you for braving the elements to do this! One of your best!
You have done it again..... another great capture and under adverse weather conditions. These huge ships look even more majestic all lit up at night. The precise maneuverability of these ships never ceases to amaze me and thanks to you, we get to see it time and again. Merry Christmas!
Absolutely phenomenal video of my favorite girl. Stunning and magnificent night with the Arthur M Anderson. Takes my breath away and you just made my Christmas complete ❤ ♥
In addition to her size and sheer power, you always capture her grace. I absolutely held my breath, watching her do what she does best. What an amazing captain and crew. They just seem to dance right along with her. I always think each new video is my favorite. Reading the other comments, it's nice to see I'm not alone. It shows in your work that you love her as much as we do. What a lovely gift to share. Many thanks, and Merry Christmas. Have a safe and happy New Year.🙋♀️🎄🕯❤
You keep topping the previous videos in quality, detail, unique situations, weather, etc. This was truly an awesome video, the likes few can experience in person. Great work!
A new art form, and just as great as daytime!! Thanks for the effort, the result shows for itself. Informative too, seeing spot lamps used to confirm navigation, and the conditions that perhaps are less recognised by us land lubbers. I know some folks who can't park a car in daylight that well. 😀😀😀😀😀
Amazing how the Anderson seemingly glides through the water, and then gracefully lines up with the dock. That's the work of a crew with years of experience. Good thing it wasn't me at the wheel. I would have slammed the Anderson into the side of the dock! Lol...
Dude; you deserve an award in visuals for this one- gorgeous! If you can pull a decent quality 11x17 still of that shot starting at 4:49, let me know and i'll buy a print from you of it.

WOW! What an outstanding video! Thanks for doing it!
Thank you!
Nice video. I like seeing the spotlights being used, the steam off the water and the snow flying in the spotlight beams.
Thanks!
That was absolutely stunning. Well done.
Thanks!
Beautiful side view at the beginning there. Arguably your best video of the Anderson yet
Thank you!

Thank you! Unfortunately I discovered that my night videos don’t give very good stills. The image is a bit grainy.
The old girl is my favorite
The Anderson delivered this load to Gary and picked up supplies at Soo. Did the ship go straight back to Duluth for Winter Layup or what? Thanks
The Anderson came to Duluth to load ore again and has since departed. She will likely keep working until the Soo Locks close on January 15.
The steam off the water and a windy night 🌙 makes it just look that much colder. Why are you up at 4am recording this?
I actually left home at 1am. 🙂
That's not the Captain's first Rodeo!
Definitely not!
I don't know what to say about that. Unbelievable will have to do.
Thank you!
