Ahhhhhh. In my wildest dreams I didn't expect a Romgess kiss this soon. My heart and brain exploded and I'm dead. I'm dead, but I'm still alive enough to make this and post it. I think? Anyway, I've had some eager subscribers rabidly waiting for this video, so hopefully I did the KISS justice. GUYS THEY KISSED. Gracious, I can't believe it. When I started shipping them last season I was half-afraid they would never be canon, but THEY ARE CANON. This is not a drill. I so desperately needed something happy to happen on one of my shows after losing Charles Vane. And Derek Morgan. And Lincoln. And maybe a favorite on TWD. AND ROMGESS KISSED!
I can't wait to see the awkward angst between them in the next episodes and I just pray that the writers don't rush through their time together. Roman is such a sweetheart and the fact that Burgess was the one to initiate the kiss and start to fall for him just made me go heart-eyes all over the place.
The unfortunate part of this episode is that it solidified my growing dislike for Ruzek. I'm so sad, because in Season 1 he was the goofy, likable guy. And I loved him. Now? He's some caveman jerk who treats Burgess like his property. Yes, I get jealousy. I GET IT. And to be clear, I don't want to hate Ruzek. I want to like him. But, the "Ugh, ugh...you now have my permission to date my ex..."??? Really? He drove Burgess to break off the engagement by acting like a child and taking her for granted. He made her feel guilty post-breakup by dumping his emotional constipation and "I'm not fine. ..I'm terrible" on her while she was trying to be professional. Maybe he's striking such a negative chord with me because of some of my personal experience with similar humans...but ick. He's seriously bothering me...BUT NONE OF THAT MATTERS RIGHT NOW BECAUSE ROMGESS KISSED.
Ok...done yelling my enthusiasm into your faces. For this evening at least. Thanks for watching and keep an eye out for some interesting projects on the horizon. xoxoxoxoxoxo

I never have been on RUclips before but pleasantly found clips of Roman and Burgess. Now I'm hooked. Thank you so much for this!! It is fantastic! Keep them coming please!! I feel validated that lots of other people route for Roman and Burgess too. They are too precious together and the way they look at each other gives me chills. Roman melts my heart. Brian Geraghty (Roman) is a phenomenal actor who is a ray of sunshine to watch. He lights up every scene and has the best lines. For me he has improved the show ever since joining the cast. Love how Roman and Burgess' relationship has blossomed. It has been a joy to watch their chemistry and attraction progress. They have so much more between them than Burzek.They are the most entertaining part of the show. I just hope they keep their relationship moving forward and don't split up their partnership or romance. Roman and Burgess is the reason I watch!!

Holy moly, I watched that kiss scene so many times I was worried my TiVo would break. Sweetest thing ever!! And then that look she gave him afterward!!! I've thought Roman was in love with her but I respected him more that he didn't move in as soon as she was single. And I couldn't believe how he didn't say anything back after Ruzek was so rude to him all night for just doing his job doing inventory. ruzek has been so different this season, his charm has worn off. And I used to think a Roman was so angry but he's really a softie and so protective over Kim. He's the one that got put in the middle but he was the one who ran after her apologizing. That's the kind of man you want. Roman won me over completely with that. I hope you make another video after the finale!!
+Keao Sunaoka I love everything you pointed out here. 1) I thought Roman was going to be the one to move in first as well because he was obviously smitten. I love that it was her instead. 2) Being so mature in the face of Ruzek's BS was fantastic. 3) Ruzek's charm is definitely starting to wear off. 4) Roman might be hard to understand at first, but I have no doubt he cares for Kim. 5) As soon as I have a minute, I am absolutely going crazy vidding them again. ;)

That is a good video. I love Roman's reaction to the kiss because he was surprised but was not mad about the kiss. I really hope that in the next episode that Roman and Burgess will let each other know how they feel about each other. I just a feeling that sooner or later that they are going to ended becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.

But if Ruzek was to grow up a little bit and he ended up with Kim, I definitely wouldn't be angry or anything. Not a big fan of ship wars...I'd much rather all of us CPD fans enjoy the show and all the ships together. :)

+Gaia Di Lorenzo I haven't necessarily forgotten Ruzek, since I never really shipped him with Burgess to begin with. (Any engaged man who kisses a different woman and is then engaged to that second woman within a year...ehhhhh) But it's hard to see your ship break up, so if you're feeling pain that's totally okay. I doubt we've seen the last of the Burzek storyline, if that's any comfort. ;)
+MsDanilea Linstead manages to be partners, friends, and a couple...why not Romgess? ;) Best of all the worlds.
+HawkeyeGin13 see the problem is that in the end he is a rebound and I think they are better off friends and partners. I prefer it that way and all shows do that same formula it's not really original.

Yeah, a few episodes ago Burgess gave the ring back because she felt like Ruzek wasn't taking their engagement seriously. It was right after he blew off dinner with her mom again, I think. I figure the Burzek story isn't over, but I'm enjoying Romgess until then. :)
