Where will taoist gen fit into the game and is he worth summoning, here is my gut feelings about the unit
We will need to wait a bit before you would rank him on a tier list or anything like that but he is looking good

Ronda i think still wins by quite a maegin but that doesn't mean T Gen isn't a broken unit Ronda Defence reduction is just too broken maybe if T Gen boost wasn't 1/2 he would've definitly compete but i see him working on the second team with dhalsim, actually that would be perfect cause dhalsim is quite squishy. but lets see the tests.
Need to consider gen is giving 40% dmg boost super AND 20% from passive.
Also he is boosting both crit rate by 20% and crit dmg by a whopping 150%
Along with an additional 50% dmg to the c3.
All things considered he absolutely could buff higher dmg than Honda even with the alternating turn split.
But like I said in the video we gotta wait and see it in action
The way the fadon setup works the largest amount of dmg is done in the last 10-15 seconds.
If you are landing massively boosted crits at that point the damage has the potential to be nuts

You’re forgetting RHonda not only Restores 300 Super Combo Gauge but also Reduces DMG Reduction of opponents via 40 / 60% which equates to DMG Boost 40 / 60% I would imagine yet RHonda is Full-Time vs NEW Gen DMG Bonus is only Part-Time
This is why I’m saying we need to see how it pans out as you also need to factor in gen is boosting crit dmg and 50% boost to c3.
Overall I still think gen is going to do more but it’s still about if he can survive or not
RHonda Restore 300 Gauge + 40/60% DMG
-Vs-
TGen Restore 350 Gauge + 50% DMG 1/2 time
RHonda #1 still IMO
@@Hayzink• Absolutely. I overlooked the Extra Bonuses focusing upon the Major Buffs yet even those Minor Buffs still help. No doubt.
@metalgear- gen does more than just that. He boosts crit dmg and also boosts damage (on top of the base 40% dmg) by 50% on whoever is doing the c3
This is why I’m saying we need to see how it plays out.
At worse gen is going to make one of your other 3 teams pop off OR he is going to work better in the Honda role.
So no matter what he is deffo likely to have an impact on event bossing
