Godin makes Simon & Patrick, Godin, Seagull, Art & Lutherie acoustics as well as Godin electrics. All made in Canada, most from Canadian grown wood. All are of exceptional quality and all sound incredibly good and the price point can’t be beat.
A shame no playing to get an idea of the sound. Without trying to sound like I'm bashing Seagull, everyone I've heard without exception has had a tinny dull sound and I don't get it. For about 60 dollars more now, you can get one of the Recording King 11 series guitars, which have a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. Check out the RUclips reviews. Love mine.
They are fantastic guitars but i just cant get over this super narrow headstock. It just looks like 2 different instruments were joined together... but thats just my opinion
Thanks for the fast reply! I assumed it was an S6 and you just misspoke when you said it was an M6. Too many model numbers to remember when working in a music store, been there and done that...lol!
No acoustic player should ever go above the 12th fret. It’s like running in dress slacks. Even Chet Atkins on an electric said he “never made a dime past five”. The fifth fret.
I agree! I have played electric guitars above the 12th fret for intense solos but never needed to on my acoustics. I have owned a few cutaways and have yet to ever need anything past fret 12. I don't like the sound or response above the 12th fret on an acoustic guitar. But to each their own.....

I hate slim nack, i am struggling to find one with thicker neck.

The video title states the guitar is an S6. At the end of the video you say it is an M6. Which is it please?
