This only makes it more difficult now to pick between the CP88 and YC88... The YC88 is probably more versatile, with more sounds, the FM engine, etc. While the CP88 is more piano oriented, although it seems impossible to be talking about the YC88 and not being piano oriented with it's excellent 88-key wooden textured keys. The YC88 has those organ drawbars... Anyway, really hard to chose now which is best, the CP or the YC.

thanks for the video! the real issue is that is very hard find information about where to find a PreSonus boom arm + shock mount, or at least where to find a compatible shock mount for any other boom arm!

Sorry to hear that, this is a Gibson/Epiphone design that hasn’t been redesign since its first inception in the 50’s. I am a guitar tech for 2 shops part-time in the city I live at and Ive seen countless broken headstock 98% all Gibson/Epiphone during the course of 28+ years of being a guitar tech. You would think they would’ve redesigned it back in the 70’s-80’s, too much corporate STUPIDITY and GREED.
