Also, you could make another cage in the pillager outpost in the modular world and put they always in! The new line has me very excited
Definitely will be adding those Allays to the outpost module! They're great. I don't have the Deep Dark Battle yet, but *hopefully* it's on its way. You'll see the review as soon as I get it!

This whole set reminds me of one of the inspiration images used in the first crafting box set from the first wave, it looks almost exactly like it but it’s a wood sword

Great review! I can tell that you put effort into these. When the sets were leaked, I wasn't super interested in this one but this review made me considering buying this. I've recently started playing Minecraft with my friends again on a new server, and the shot of your Minecraft replica of your Sword Outpost made me want to try that too in survival! Thanks Caleb!

Depends on if I can convince myself and if I have enough money. I am going to buy the Creator Expert DeLorean, since Back To The Future is my favorite film. But something I'm interested in is the Panda Haven and the Swamp Adventure.

Quite a nice set! I think the allay should have slightly larger head, because it looks small next to that neck. I also like how you opened the box at 1:38. I always open mine like that, so I can fit smaller boxes in the big ones to save space. I really hope you'll have a review of the dep dark :)
I just hate butchering the box by using those punch tabs, ha! And I could certainly see this saving some space too! I don't quite have the Deep Dark set yet, but hoping to get it soon.

Okay, hear me out: though it’d be very challenging and probably not very cost effective to produce, I think it’d be awesome if for enchanted tools, Lego made the inside the normal color but then incased it in translucent lavender!

I honestly can't believe lego didn't use the baby zombie body for the allay. That looks perfect for the Minecraft World!
I'll definitely be swapping out the body for my custom stuff, but I do understand why LEGO wanted hands so it could carry around items to drop at the Jukebox. I have to imagine that they at least toyed with the idea of using the zombie body though - it's just too perfect!
This is probably my favorite set this wave and the first one I pick up as soon as I can, the minifigs and new accessories are great and the block accurate diamond is gonna look great on display! Nice review 👍

It blows my mind that the new pumpkin farm set is ONLY 5$ cheaper than this, but yet half the size.

LEGO Minecraft has that special feeling when new sets are released it make me want to just play Minecraft like it’s 2017 and have fun at the old summer camp I used to go to
The theme is just so classic and pure, and I love it.
I love this entire wave, my favorites being the little swamp set and the ancient city, but im definitely getting most of this wave.
this set with the big pixel art is something i am shocked has taken this long for them to do. They should perhaps do more of them, like a pickaxe or maybe even a large steve house ( or any playerskin) wich is another one of those super common builds you would see.
Wich would also fit right in with the large mob houses.
The 2 player figures are lovely the allay is a bit wierd looking but i dont know how they would've done it any different. The unprinted baby zombie piece works, and kinda makes it look more like the old vex design
Either way i love seeing these mob/biome vote mobs in lego form and im pretty dure we have all of the ones that made it into the game.
Cannot wait to see what they do for the sniffer.
The Sniffer is going to be awesome. Maybe it'll show up in June, but I'm guessing next January is more likely.
I got the “big-fig” sets that I’ll put in my Minecraft world and use as player made statues.
More creative inspired projects from LEGO would be great as well.

Thank you! I was just accepted into LAN in October, and I was fortunate enough to get a few LEGO Minecraft sets sent to me early! It's a great program, and I'm hoping it will continue to help supplement the channel with some fun videos like these. And boy oh boy do I enjoy getting sets randomly in the mail like this lol

its funny I have a vivid memory of a pickax in a stone being present in the inspirational section of the very first crafting box. I recently dug up and de dusted all my old lego sets.

Finally got around to adding this set to my collection. Absolutely wonderful set. I love the fact that you can remove the sword and just have some pretty simple terrain. 10/10 would buy a pickaxe mine, axe forest, hoe garden, shovel... something? so on. This set pleases me.
I hope to see more stuff like this in the future. It just feels so authentic to the Minecraft experience!
@@CheeseyStudios I think everyone has built pixel art tools, so I think everyone has a personal connection to this kind of set. I am really hoping this set did good enough overall to get them to do more like it.
This set is Great!
Lego up to their old tricks, they usually give you only 2 or 3 of a piece that requires 4 to make a complete structure, like quarter rounds or windows. Instead of making sets worse to make people buy more than one to get a complete build, they should make a practice of providing a full set of a given part in one set. The fact this set does not include the complete sword is a hard pass for me, permanently
You know, Mega actually gives "full models" where every part in a given portion of the model is all the same color, so you can tinker around and modify the set much more easily without immediately exposing some primary color fill-in piece that destroys the immersion. Lego has "benefited" from a culturally pushed lack of competition for some time but we have not benefited there are some things Lego does quite wrong
I do hope some other companies become competitive with LEGO. That could be big for driving the prices on some of these things down.

This set was sent to me by the LEGO Group directly through the LEGO Ambassador Network! I don't have the Deep Dark Battle quite yet, but I'll be reviewing it here as soon as I do!

It's possible that another reason that the design is so familiar is because similar builds have appeared in some of the old console tutorial worlds.
Definitely could be! A few people had mentioned that, though I must confess I'm completely unfamiliar with any such worlds. I'll have to look it up!

I'd honestly never heard of the tutorial worlds until like a week ago xD
I still wish the flick-fire arrows would use more game accurate pieces like a brown body and white cone rather than the light/dark blue-gray. The baby zombie body does indeed look better for the allay, though I wish they made a custom mold for it instead. considering we already have other whacky one set molds, I think it'd be fitting for it.
Some recolors for those would be great! I think LEGO would never make the flick fire missile in brown though as the color is historically the most brittle and fragile. It would probably crack in half upon being flicked...
You should add a smaller version of the allay into your pillager outpost moc

Wow this set is very unique and the idea of putting the allay head with the foil piece, onto the baby zombie torso is an excellent idea. It definitely looks a lot more accurate

I’ve done this before too! I made an Axolotl in a Bucket. I’m still disappointed the sword cant slide out. If the actual base was taller, that could’ve been done. BUT I suppose this is fine how it is.

I have way too many Lego Minecraft Skeletons. I counted 12. Imagine fighting 12 skeletons in-game, with 2 of them being horsemen!
Skeletons are the worst in-game. I could not handle 12, even in maxed gear xD

I’m not going to be getting this (saving for the Ancient City) but if I did I’d put 3 more of the cyan(?) tiles in the diagonal line of the center of the blade, in place of aqua(?) ones do it looks more game accurate.

Or release instructions on how you can build a sword, using two of this set, the rest of the blocks/terrain cound function as a holder for the sword.

100% gonna get this set. the allay is worth it, but also the fact I don't have a single pig in my inventory (somehow?) and bricklink sellers are trying to get every last dime out of me with the min buy, so this is a good set to get for me.

Not a huge fan of this new wave, but this one isn’t too bad. I feel it makes the best display out of all the new ones. I’ll probably wait for this to go on sale for 35-40$ before picking it up

although it would've made the set more expensive, I wish they would've used the 2x2 pieces to make the sword have the design on both sides.
That would have been pretty nice. I don't think the inverted tiles exist in most of those colors sadly though.

You can buy both games for the same amount of price for this set. I like LEGO but I never really saw the appeal of this. Your MOC series is top tier and I understand that’s a passion project that you enjoy doing.
I can totally respect that side of it too. There's just something to be said for the tangibility of bringing Minecraft into the real world that appeals to a lot of people, especially those who are already LEGO fans!
