Stewart I just came across your video about NX Studio. I also like the new Nikon free editing program. I'm not sure how to put it but to me it seems like the camera and NX Studio communicate in "Nikon" language to bring out the best out of camera results. Your video was helpful as I am still learning to use the adjustment controls. Many times I am satisfied with the result I get in NX but if I feel I need or want to do more in either LR or PS I export to a folder then import the image to PS or LR. That way the adjustments done in NX are preserved. Thank you for the video.
I thought this was a very good video. I am using NX Studio and I would like to know how you made the boxes in the adjustment pallet larger by extending them to the left. This would be helpful. I could not not find it in the manual or menses. Thank you Ira
Thank you for this explicit discovery tutorial. It would be nice to have a tutorial for using the information and XMP/IPTC tabs and the different ways to export in different qualities Merci pour ce tuto de découverte explicite. Ce serait bien de dipsoser d'un tuto pour l'utilisation des onglets informations et XMP/IPTC et des différentes façons d'exporter en différentes qualités
I wish I could use this Nikon Studio software. I like everything about it, especially now that I have the Nikon Z9. Unfortunately the software is champ in crashing all the time on my Mac OS Monterey. I can’t accomplish anything using it. I am forced to pay and use Capture one 23 Pro which is the only one capable of reading Z9’s NEF files. Can’t seem to understand why Nikon Studio crashes all the time…
Thanks for this. So I import my raw files using Nikon Transfer, adjust as per my view and how I want the image to look. Once done I would like to save and transfer to my photos app so that I can view as a continuous slide show as selected from System Preferences. How is this done please.
Hi Stewart, thanks for commenting, I guess you would need to export the images into a subfolder to your windows user account images folder. You could also export to any folder on your system, then head into that folder, double-click on one of the files and chose to open that in your photo app and start the slide show. Are you using Windows Photos app to display your photos? If you are and your exported photos opens in another app then right click the image you would like to start the slideshow with and chose "Open In" and select the photos app.
@@clivehambly7820 Thats true but shortly I have tested this software on RYZEN 5 + GTX970 + 16GB + win10. IMO, this software is really lagy. aftershot3 or darktable or rawtherape are my friends now.

Oh, so it's called NX Studio now, nice, I guess I could do my old nikon shots on it, it seems pretty nice.
Yeah, try it out, it's pretty decent.
Thanks for commenting vape 😊

Hi Bernard, thanks for commenting, glad you liked it. I may make a video detailing XMP/IPTC soon, I just need to finish a few other projects first.

imo this software is lagy. I have tested it on my old laptop and it seans is lagy due to old hardware. THX for sharing.
If you are using an old laptop then any software that manipulates and processes RAW files will be 'laggy'.

There is nothing better for developing Nef Nikon, third-party programs, yes they are cool, but they do not develop raw as well as the native program.
